Fill the kettle with 0.75 L of water and bring to a boil. Switch off and unplug. Add 0.1 L of white vinegar. Let it sit overnight. Discard the solution and rinse thoroughly. Then boil 1 L of water and rinse again. Regular descaling is important to prevent limescale buildup.
Can I boil milk or other liquids in this kettle?
No, this kettle is designed for boiling water only. Using it for milk or other liquids can damage the appliance and void the warranty.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for domestic use. It does not cover damage from improper use, descaling with harsh chemicals, or commercial use.
How do I clean the filter?
The net filter in the spout should be cleaned regularly. Rinse it under running water or use a soft brush. If blocked due to hard water, descale as instructed.
Can children use this kettle?
Children aged 8 and above can use it under supervision. Children under 8 should be kept away. The kettle produces hot steam and water, posing a burn hazard.
What should I do if the kettle does not turn on?
Check that the base is properly connected to the power supply. Ensure the kettle is properly seated on the base. If it still doesn't work, the thermal cut-off may have activated due to overheating. Let it cool down and try again. If the issue persists, contact customer service.
Is the kettle suitable for induction hobs?
No, this is a cordless electric kettle that operates from a base. It is not suitable for use on induction or any stovetop.
How much water should I put in the kettle?
You can boil between 0.5 L and 1.7 L. Do not exceed the maximum mark to avoid boiling water splashing out and causing short circuits.
