How do I turn on the COLBOR PL5 light?

Long press the Power & Mode Switch Button to turn the device on or off.

How do I switch between lighting modes?

With the device on, short press the Power & Mode Switch Button to cycle through CCT Mode, EFF Mode, and other modes.

How do I adjust brightness and color temperature?

In CCT Mode, press down the dial to select brightness or color temperature, then roll the dial up to increase or down to decrease.

What are the special effects in EFF Mode?

EFF Mode includes Lightning and Fire effects, each with 3 variations, totaling 6 special effects. Use the dial to switch among them.

How do I charge the PL5?

Connect a Type-C charging cable to the charging port. Charging time is approximately 2.5 hours using a 5V/1A adapter. Remove the cable when fully charged.

How long does the battery last?

At 100% brightness, the battery lasts about 90 minutes. Lower brightness extends runtime.

Can I mount the light on a tripod?

Yes, the PL5 has a standard 1/4" screw hole for mounting on tripods or other accessories. It also has a magnetic back for attaching to metal surfaces.

What is covered under warranty?

The PL5 has a 12-month limited warranty from the purchase date. Within 30 days of receipt, you can get free replacement or repair for quality defects under normal use. The warranty does not cover human errors or misuse.

How should I clean and maintain the light?

Caring For Your COLBOR Product

• Please keep the product in a dry, clean, dust-free environment.
• Keep corrosive chemicals, liquids and heat source away from the product to prevent mechanics damage.
• Use only a soft and dry cloth for cleaning the product.
• Malfunction may be caused by dropping, impact of external force.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the product. Doing so voids warranty.
• Please have the product checked or repaired by authorized technicians if any malfunctions happened.
• Please remove the USB charging cable when the battery is fully charged.
• The product might get hot during use, which is normal. Please allow certain space for heat-sink when using it.
• If you do not use the product for a long time, it might not be able to turn on instantly due to dead battery. Please charge the product and it can resume to work. Please charge the product every 3 months regularly.
• Failure to follow all the instructions may result in mechanics damage.
• Warranty does not apply to human errors.

Long press this button to turn on/off

the product.

When the product is on, short press this button to switch between 2 light modes, CCT Mode and EFF Mode.

Press down the dial to choose the option to be adjusted.

Roll the dial upwards to increase the value, and downwards to decrease the value.

Interface Introduction

CCT Mode

In CCT Mode, you can choose to adjust brightness or color temperature by pressing down the dial.

Increase or decrease the brightness and color temperature by rolling the dial upwards or downwards.

EFF Mode

In CCT Mode, press the mode switch button once to enter EFF Mode. Press down the dial to switch among subordinate mode, brightness and special effect, and roll the dial to adjust.

Subordinate Mode: Lightning and Fire Each mode contains 3 special effects, amount to 6 special effects.
