How do I set up the IB-MS202-T for the first time?

Connect the enclosure to your computer via USB 3.0, insert drives, plug in power, and turn on. The device is plug-and-play; no drivers needed. Use the jumper or switch on the back to select RAID mode before powering on.

Which RAID modes are available and how do I choose?

RAID 0 (striping for speed), RAID 1 (mirroring for redundancy), and JBOD (spanning). Select mode via the physical switch on the rear panel before turning on. The default is RAID 1.

Can I use different sized drives?

Yes, but for RAID 1 the array will use the capacity of the smallest drive. For RAID 0, both drives are combined. JBOD uses each drive separately.

Does the IB-MS202-T support 2.5-inch drives?

There is no software reset. To reset RAID, turn off, set RAID switch to a different mode, power on, then power off and set desired mode again. This clears the array.
