2) While holding on to the light or other support mounted, press the foot pedal to reposition to the angle of your choice, then release the pedal fully to lock in place.
3) Use sandbags over the base legs, or bolt to the floor using the 3/8" threads located at the front of each leg, for weight exceeding 1.6 lbs. (0.73kg) when using a 40" (102cm) gobo arm.
4) Ball head will hold 8 lbs. (3.63kg) without slipping using a standard 40" gobo arm.
5) To decrease/increase the tension and capacity of the ball head, loosen/tighten using using the included no. 6 allen wrench on the bottom of the stand base beneath the ball head.
