  • Place the scale on a horizontal and hard surface.
  • Place the bowl or other container on it.
  • You also can weight directly over the platform.
  • You can weight in kilograms (kg) or in pounds (lb).
  • Turn the adjustment wheel, situated at the bottom of the bowl, until the needle is in the "0" mark of the display.
  • Next place the food in the container.
  • You may add ingredients without removing the food which has already been weighed. To do so, once the first ingredient has been weighed, turn the dial one way or the other until the needle is on the "0" mark on the display. By repeating this operation you may keep adding ingredients without removing the previously weighed food.
