"LO" Flat battery, replacement needed.
"EEEE" Scales overload, the maximum weight is 5 kg. Remove the weighed item off the scale to avoid damage.
Button description:
Tare/On/Off activation of the Tare function/turn on/turn off Unit selection of weight units g/lb/oz/kg
Weighing
- Put the scale on a flat, hard and stable surface.
- Prior to switching the scale on, put the dish on the weighing area, if you intend to use the dish
- Push the ON button to activate the weighing mode.
- Wait till the LCD display shows - 0 - and a triangle icon.
- Put the weighted item on the scale or into the dish. The LCD display will show the item's weight.
- Select the desired weight unit (g/lb/oz/kg) by repeated pushing of the Unit button.
- You can turn the scale off by a long hold of the OFF button or the scale will turn off automatically after 30 seconds.
Tare function (weight increments)
It serves to measure the weight of dosages added gradually on top of previous doses remaining on the scale.
- Put the first dose on the scale and the display will show its weight.
- Before adding another dose, push the TARE button. The value on the display will reset to zero within 2 seconds and a there will appear a triangle icon and -0-. Now you can add another dose. Then you can repeat this procedure again.
Battery replacement
- Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the scale.
- Remove the used battery.
- Insert a new battery. Maintain proper polarity. Use only alkali batteries, never use rechargeable batteries.
- Close the cover.
Maintenance and cleaning
- To clean the scale use a moist cloth. Prevent water from getting into the appliance. Do not use chemical cleaning agents /abrasive detergents. Do not submerge the scale under water!

All plastic parts must be cleaned immediately, if they come into contact with greasy substances such as spices, vinegar or flavours. Prevent staining of the scale with acidic citrus juice!

Always keep the scale in horizontal position.
Safety instructions
• These scale are designed only for weighing of food in households.
- Do not interfere with the product's inner electric circuitry – you might damage it and void the warranty automatically.
- The scale must be placed on a flat, hard and stable surface (not a carpet etc.) in sufficient distance from any appliances generating an electromagnetic field to avoid their mutual interference.
- Do not subject the scale to shocks, vibrations and do not drop it on the floor.
- Use the scale only according to the instructions set in this manual. In case of a malfunction, only qualified specialists are allowed to repair it.
This product cannot be used by persons (including children), whose limited of physical, sensory or mental ability or lack of experience prevent them from using the appliance safely, unless they are under supervision or unless they were instructed how to use this appliance, by a person responsible for their safety. Children require supervision to ensure they would not play with the appliance.
At the end of the service life, do not throw the appliance away as unsorted communal waste. Use sorted waste collection points. By proper disposal of the product you help to prevent negative influences on human health and natural environment. Recycling of materials helps to protect our natural resources.
