How do I install the software for the SHARK ZONE M51+?

Insert the included CD and run the automatic installation (setup.exe). Follow the on-screen instructions, then restart your PC. Ensure other mouse software is uninstalled beforehand.

Can I program the buttons on the M51+?

Yes, all 11 buttons and the 4-way scroll wheel are programmable via the included software. You can assign functions like single keys, macros, media controls, or basic commands from the pull-down menus.

How do I change the DPI settings?

Press the DPI selector button (F) on the mouse to cycle through preset DPI levels. For detailed adjustment, use the software under 'Advanced Settings' where you can set DPI values from 600 to 8200.

Does the mouse have onboard memory for profiles?

Yes, the M51+ has internal memory that stores up to five user profiles. You can save and load profiles using the software.

How do I use the weight tuning system?

The mouse includes a weight tuning system located under the slide pads. You can adjust the weight by adding or removing weights (not included in the box) to achieve your preferred balance.

Can I change the LED color?

Yes, open the Color Control window in the software. You can choose any color from the palette and adjust the intensity and pulse rate (steady, slow, medium, fast).

What is the maximum polling rate?

The polling rate can be set to 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, or 1000 Hz via the Advanced Settings window in the software.

5. Connecting to the PC

1. Plug the mouse's USB connector into an available USB port on your PC.
2. The operating system will automatically recognize the mouse and install all needed drivers.
3. If your mouse is not recognized, disconnect it and try a different USB port on your PC.

6. Installing the software

1. Before installing the included software, uninstall all other existing mouse software.
2. Insert the software CD.
3. Run the automatic installation, setup.exe.
4. Follow the software instructions.
5. At the end of the installation, confirm with "Finish" and perform a restart.

Start the software via the icon in the taskbar and/or through the installed programs in the Windows Start Menu.

7. The Editor

7.1 Starting the Editor

Start the application via its Windows start menu entry or the symbol in the task bar.

7.2 Main Control window

(C) Button assignment: Every mouse button and the scroll wheel can be assigned different functions, which you can select from the respective pull down menu (see below 7.3).
(D) Game Profiles: The SHARK ZONE M51 can be assigned up to five different user profiles. With "Load Config" an already defined profile is loaded, while "Save Config" stores the current settings as new profile. "Factory Default" resets the selected profile.
(E) "OK" transfers the settings to the mouse and closes the window, "Apply" transfers the settings to the mouse, and leaves the window open, "Cancel" discards the settings.

7.3 Pull down menus

The pull down menus open up after the respective button is clicked. All pull down menus are the same for all the mouse buttons:
