SAFETY MEASURES TO PREVENT THE POSSIBLE RISK OF EXPOSURE TO MICROWAVE ENERGY

1) Do not attempt to operate the microwave oven with the door open - you could expose yourself to harmful microwaves. It is important not to defect or tamper with the safety interlocks.

2) Do not place any object between the oven front part and the door or allow soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.

3) Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important to close the oven door properly in order to avoid damaging the following parts:

a. door (bent),
b. hinges and latches (broken or loosened),
c. door seals and other parts

4) The microwave oven may only be adjusted or repaired by a qualified service agent.

BEFORE YOU CALL FOR SERVICE

If the microwave oven fails to operate:

1) Make sure the oven is plugged in securely. If it is not, remove the plug from the socket, wait 10 seconds and plug it in again securely.
2) Make sure there is no blown circuit fuse or a triplex main circuit breaker. If these seem to be operating properly, test the socket with another appliance.
3) Make sure the control panel is programmed correctly and the timer is set.
4) Make sure the door is securely closed to engage the door safety lock system. Otherwise, the microwave energy will not flow into the oven.

INSTALLATION

1) Make sure all the packing materials, such as plastic bags, polystyrene etc., are removed from the inside of the oven.
2) WARNING: Check the oven for any damage, such as misaligned or bent door, damaged door seals and sealing surface, broken or loose door hinges and latches and dents inside the cavity or on the door. In case of any damage, do not operate the oven and contact a qualified servise agent.
3) The microwave oven must be placed on a flat, stable surface to hold its weight and the heaviest food likely to be cooked in the oven.
4) Do not place the oven where heat, moisture or higher humidity is generated, or near combustible materials.
5) To ensure the correct operation, the oven must have sufficient air flow. Keep 20cm free space above the oven, 10cm at back and 5cm at both sides. Do not cover or block any events of the oven. Do not remove the oven's feet.
6) Your product has been designed for use as a stand-alone device. It has not been designed to be used as a built-in appliance.
7) Do not operate the oven without installing the glass tray, the roller ring and power device.
8) Make sure the supply cord is not damaged, placed under the oven or in contact with any hot or sharp surface.
9) Make sure that the electric power socket is easy to reach in case of a quick disconnection of the power cord out of the socket.
10) Do not use the oven outdoors.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This microwave oven must be grounded. The oven is equipped with a power cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be connected to the electric power point which is correctly installed and grounded. In the event of an electrical short-circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. It is recommended to connect the oven to a separate electrical circuit. Using high voltage is danegrous and may cause fire or different accident resulting in damage to the oven.

RADIO INTERFERENCE

When using the oven, your radio, television or similar equipment may be disturbed.

In case of interference, it may be reduced or eliminated by taking the following procedures:

1) Maintain the door and the sealing of the oven surface clean.
2) Redirect the radio or television antenna receiver.
3) Move the microwave oven further from the receiver.
4) Plug the microwave oven to a different socket with an independent electrical circuit.

10) Do not use the interior for storage purpose. If the oven is not used, do not leave paper material, kitchenware or food inside.
11) WARNING: Liquids or other food must not be heated in closed dishes as they have a tendency to explode.
12) Microwave heating of drinks may cause delayed boiling and therefore it is important to be careful when handling the dishware.
13) Do not deep-fry food in the microwave oven. Hot oil may damage oven parts, dishes or even cause skin burns.
14) Eggs in shells and whole hard-boiled eggs must not be heated in the microwave oven since they may explode, even after microwave heating has ended.
15) Pierce food with a thick skin, such as potatoes, squash, apples and chestnuts before cooking.
16) The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars must be stirred or shaken and the temperature should be checked before serving to avoid burning.
17) Kitchenware can become hot as a result of heat transferred from the heated food. It will sometimes be necessary to use protective gloves.
18) IMPORTANT - kitchenware and aids which must not be used in the microwave oven:
- metal pans or dishes with metal handles or metal trimming
- clips for plastic bags

  • dishes with melamine surface
  • common thermometers which are used e.g. to measure the temperature of meat, etc.

MICROWAVE COOKING PRINCIPLES

1) Arrange the food carefully. Place the thickest pieces around the edge of the dish.
2) Do not prepare the food directly on the glass tray. Always place the food into the appropriate dish before inserting into the oven.
3) Set the cooking time correctly. Use short time for cooking and add more if needed. Cooking food at high temperatures may caused smoke or ignition.
4) Cover the food while cooking. Covering the food prevents juices from squirting and helps food to heat evenly.
5) To increase the speed of cooking food, such as chickens and hamburgers, turn them over once during cooking. Large pieces of food such as roasts must be turned over at least once.
6) Rearrange similar types of food such as meatballs during cooking from back to front and from the centre to the edge.

KITCHENWARE GUIDE

1) Transparent dishes are ideal for microwave cooking as they enable the penetration of microwaves and heat the food.
2) Microwaves can not penetrate through metal thus hence metal dishes or bowls with a metal rim should not be used.
3) Do not used recycled paper products for microwave cooking as they can contain small metal fragments.
4) Use round/oval dishes rather than square/rectangular ones, food in corners has a tendency to over-cook.
5) You should only use dishes suitable for microwave use in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Each time a button is pressed, a beep will sound to acknowledge the press.

SETTING DIGITAL CLOCK

Press CLOCK button to set digital clock in 24-hour cycle.

For example: Suppose you want to set the clock time to 8:30.

1) Press CLOCK button once.
2) Turn MENU/TIME knob clockwise to set hours to 8:00.
3) Press CLOCK button once for confirmation.
4) Turn MENU/TIME knob clockwise to set minutes until it shows 8:30.
5) Press CLOCK button once to confirm the setting.

You can press the CLOCK button once to check clock time during cooking.

MICROWAVE COOKING

Quick start

This feature allows you to start the oven quickly at full power.

Each time you press START/QUICK START button you extend cooking time of 30 seconds. By repeated pressing you can set the desired cooking time. The oven starts work at full power level immediately. The maximum cooking time you can set is 10 minutes.

SETTING POWER LEVEL AND COOKING TIME

To program microwave cooking press POWER LEVEL button first. Each time you press POWER LEVEL button the power level changes. Turning MENU/TIME knob clockwise set cooking time. To start cooking program press START/QUICK START button. The longest cooking time is 95 minutes.

Pressing the POWER LEVEL button you can select:

For example, suppose you want to cook for 5 minute at 60% of microwave power.

During cooking, you can check the present cooking power by pressing POWER LEVEL button. Display shows preset power level and than it returns to time counting down mode automatically.

WEIGHT DEFROST

This function allows defrosting food based on the weight you entered. The time and the defrosting power are adjusted automatically once the weight is programmed. The range weight of frozen foods varies between 100g and 1800g.

For example: Suppose you want to defrost 600g of shrimp.

1) Place the shrimp to be defrosted into the oven.
2) Press WEIGHT DEFROST button once and the display shows 1S, 100g and a mark of defrost.
3) Press WEIGHT ADJUST repeatedly and set weight of defrosted food.
4) Press START/QUICK START button to start the defrosting.

Note:

Defrost process divides into three stages, each stage needs 1/3 time, after defrosting 2/3 time the system will sound beeps to remind you to turn over the food and pause until you depress the button START/QUICK START to enter into the next defrosting stage, and the defrosting resume.

SPEED DEFROST

The oven can quickly defrost food to the set time you entered. The maximum defrosting time you can set is 95 minutes.

For example: Suppose you want to defrost shrimp for 20 minutes.

1) Place the shrimp to be defrosted into the oven.
2) Press SPEED DEFROST button once and display shows 1S and mark of defrost.
3) Turning MENU/TIME clockwise set the defrost time to 20:00.
4) Press START/QUICK START button to start the defrosting.

Note:

PRESET FUNCTION

This function allows you to start cooking program at preset time automatically.

Suppose the present time is 8:00 in the morning and you want the oven to start a microwave at 11:30 for cooking 30 minutes with 80% power level automatically.

1) Press POWER LEVEL button twice and the display shows 80%.
2) Turning MENU/TIME knob clockwise set the time to 30 minutes.
3) Press PRESET button once.
4) Turning MENU/TIME knob clockwise set the hours to 11:00.
5) Press PRESET button once for confirmation.
6) Turning MENU/TIME knob clockwise set the minutes until it displays 11:30.
7) Press START/QUICK START to confirm the setting.

Note:

1) To make sure that the present clock is correct, and when it is time to the preset time, the cooking program start automatically.
2) After the preset function start, press PRESET button to show the preset time for 3 seconds, within which press STOP/CANCEL button to cancel the present function.

MULTI STAGE COOKING

This microwave oven allows programming up to 2 automatic cooking sequences. Some recipes may require combined cooking setting.

For example: Suppose you want to set the following cooking program:

Microwave cooking (for 20 minutes at 100% power) → Microwave cooking (for 5 minutes až 40% power).

1) Input the first program of microwave cooking (set power and cooking time).
2) Press MULTI STAGE COOKING button.
3) Input the second cooking program (set power and cooking time).
4) Press START/QUICK START button to start the cooking.

Note:

In multi stage cooking program it is not possible to set weight defrost, speed defrost or auto cook. The respective lights 1S, 2S will come on to indicate which stage the oven is operation in.

AUTO COOK

It is not necessary to program the duration and the cooking power. It is sufficient to indicate the type of food that you wish to cook as well as the weight of this food. You may need to turn food over at the middle of cooking time to obtain uniform cooking.

For example: to cook 400g of fresh vegetable.

CHILD LOCK

To avoid accidental operation of the oven by small children you can set child lock function. After setting the child lock you cannot operate the oven.

To set the child lock press and hold STOP/CANCEL button for 3 seconds. Once the child lock is set a beep sounds and lock indicator appears on the display. No buttons will be able to operate or press.

To cancel the child lock press and hold STOP/CANCEL button for 3 seconds. A beep sound and lock indicator goes off.

MAINTAINCE AND CARE

Turn the oven off and remove the power plug from the wall socket before cleaning.

1) Clean the glass tray in a weak solution of dish liquid and rinse under the drinking water.
2) Keep the inside of the oven clean. When food splatters or spilled liquids adhere to oven walls, wipe with a damp cloth. The use of harsh detergent or abrasives is not recommended.
3) The outside oven surface should be cleaned with a damp cloth. To prevent damage to the operating parts inside the oven, water should not be allowed to seep into the ventilation openings.
4) Clean the oven door and window on both sides, the door sealing and adjacent parts on a regular basis from dirt and remnants of food. We recommend to use a weak solution of a neutral kitchen cleaning agent for cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, gas or thinners for cleaning.
5) Do not allow the Control Panel to get wet. Clean it with a soft damp cloth.
6) If steam accumulates inside or around the outsider of the oven door, wipe with a soft cloth. This may occur when the microwave oven is operated under high humidity conditions and in no way indicates malfunction of the unit.
7) It is occasionally necessary to remove the glass tray for cleaning. Wash the tray in warm sudsy water or in a dishwasher.
8) The roller ring and oven cavity floor should be cleaned regularly to avoid excessive noise. Simply wipe the bottom surface of the oven with mild detergent, water or window cleaner and dry. The roller ring may be washed in mild sudsy water or dishwasher. Cooking vapour collect during repeated use but in no way affect the bottom surface or rollering wheels. When removing the roller ring from cavity floor for cleaning, be sure to replace it in the proper position.
9) Remove odors from your oven by combining a cup of water with the juice and skin of one lemon in a deep microwaveable bowl. Microwave for 5 minutes, wipe thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.
10) When it becomes necessary to replace the oven light, please consult a dealer to have it replaced.
11) Clean the oven on a regular basis in accordance with the stated instructions and remove any remnants of food found within. Not maintaining the oven in a clean state could lead to the damage of the surface which could have a negative influence on the life of the appliance and could result in a dangerous situation.
