How do I change the DPI setting on the Buzzard Claw mouse?

Press the DPI button on top of the mouse to cycle through resolutions: 800, 1600, 2400, 3200, 4800, 7200 DPI. The mouse will flash the corresponding color for 3 seconds (e.g., blue for 1600 DPI) before returning to the set lighting effect.

How can I adjust the RGB lighting modes?

Press and hold the Forward or Backward button together with the DPI Loop key to change modes. The mouse offers 13 modes including Rainbow wave, Flicker, Galaxy, Flow, Random, Response, LED off, Breathing, Static, Tail, Space, Star, and Neon. To turn lighting on/off, press and hold the DPI button for 3 seconds.

Is the Buzzard Claw mouse compatible with Mac or Linux?

The mouse functions as a standard HID device on any operating system, but the advanced button programming, lighting, and DPI configuration software is only available for Windows.

How do I program the buttons on the mouse?

Download and install the SurFire software from www.surefire-gaming.com/support (Windows only). Open the software, click on the button you wish to reassign, select the desired function, and click Save. Macros can be created in the Macro section.

What is the warranty period for the SureFire Buzzard Claw?

Verbatim GmbH provides a 2-year limited warranty from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. Batteries are excluded. For warranty service, return the product with original receipt to the place of purchase or contact Verbatim.

Can I use the mouse while charging?

The Buzzard Claw is a wired mouse; it does not have a battery. It draws power directly from the USB port, so it is always ready to use when plugged in.

How do I clean the mouse?

Wipe the exterior with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasives. For the optical sensor, gently blow away dust or use a cotton swab.

What is the polling rate and how do I change it?

The polling rate defaults to 1000 Hz but can be set to 125, 250, 500, or 1000 Hz using the SurFire software. Higher rates provide lower latency.

Does the mouse have on-board memory to store settings?

Yes, the Buzzard Claw stores your button mappings, DPI settings, and lighting preferences directly on the mouse, so they persist even when used on another computer without the software installed.

Is the mouse suitable for left-handed users?

The Buzzard Claw is an ambidextrous design with symmetrical shape and side buttons on the left side only. It is optimized for right-handed or left-handed users who can reach the side buttons with their right hand.

RGB lighting:

• 13 LED modes: Rainbow wave (default setting) / Flicker / Galaxy / Flow / Random / Response / LED off / Breathing / Static / Tail / Space / Star / Neon.
- Press the Forward or Backward + DPI Loop keys to change the RGB lighting mode.
- Press and hold DPI button for 3 seconds to turn on/off lighting.

DPI switch:

• Resolution: 800/1600/2400/3200/4800/7200 DPI
- Press the DPI button on top of mouse to switch the DPI resolution.
- When changing to different DPI settings the mouse will light in the corresponding DPI colour about 3 seconds and return to the set lighting effect.
- DPI and colour switch as follows: 1600 DPI: Blue (default) / 2400 DPI: Purple / 3200 DPI: Green / 4800 DPI: Red / 7200 DPI: Cyan / 800 DPI: Yellow

Software (only for Windows as download)

1. Please download the software from www.surefi re-gaming.com/support.
2. Start the installation by executing the downloaded file from your download place.
3. Follow the installation process.
4. Plug the mouse into the USB Port of your computer.
5. Start the software via the shortcut on your desktop and configure your mouse with your preferred setup.

Button Setup:

You can configure your key setup in this mode. Click on the button you want to adjust and select the function you want, confirm every selection by pressing "Save" to transfer your selection to the mouse. Macros have to be defined in the Macro section of the software.

Macro Setting:

To set Macros to one or more of your mouse keys you have to configure them in this section. Macros can be individual combinations of keys and functions to suit your personal preferences.

DPI Setting:

In this menu you can adjust advanced settings of your mouse to your preferences, please transfer your settings to the mouse by pressing "Save".

LED Setting:

You can select different lighting modes or turn off the lighting on your mouse. Please transfer your selection to the mouse by pressing "Save".

Product replacement is your sole remedy under this warranty, and this warranty does not apply to normal wear or to damage resulting from abnormal use, misuse, abuse, neglect or accident, or to any incompatibility or poor performance due to the specific computer software or hardware used.
