Safety
- Please read the entire manual and save it for future use.
- Warning! Do not open the casing. Certain components within the product's casing carry dangerous currents. Contact with these may give you an electric shock.
- The product should only be repaired by qualified service technicians.
- Disconnect the mains lead after use.
- Never leave the curling tongs unsupervised when plugged into an electrical socket.

Warning! Never use the product while bathing, showering or in such as way at it can fall into water or other liquid.
- Never touch the curling tongs if they are plugged in and have fallen into water.
- Do not touch the product with wet hands.
- Never use the product if the plug, mains lead or other parts are damaged.
- Do not use the mains lead to carry the product.
- Protect the mains lead from hot or sharp objects.
- The mains lead should be checked regularly. Never use the product if the mains lead or plug is damaged.
- The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to prevent the risk of electric shock or fire and should only be carried out by the manufacturer, qualified service facility or qualified technician.
- For indoor use only. - Do not use the product in environments where aerosol sprays, oxygen or other concentrated chemicals are present.
- The installation of an RCD with a tripping current of 30 mA can help prevent lethal electric shocks. Consult a competent electrical if you are uncertain.
- This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep the product and its mains lead out of reach of children under the age of 8.
- The product may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or persons with a lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardize their safety, provided they have been instructed in the safe operation of the product and understand the hazards involved.
- Never let children play with the product.
Power plug and cord replacement
If the cord is damaged it must, for safety reasons, be replaced by an authorized repairer. For non-rewireable plugs the fuse cover MUST be refitted when replacing the fuse. If the fuse cover is lost then the plug must not be used until a replacement can be obtained. The correct fuse cover is identified by colour.
If a non-rewireable plug is cut off it must be DESTROYED IMMEDIATELY. An electric shock hazard may arise if an unwanted non-rewireable plug is inadvertently inserted into a 13 A socket outlet.
Product description
- Curling tongs, ∅ 25 mm.
- Safety grip handle.
- 180 cm swivel lead – no tangle.
- Approx. operating temp: 180 °C.
Use
- Plug the curling tongs into an electrical outlet (with dry hands).
- Slide the [ON-OFF] switch forward to turn the heat on. The indicator light will be off in the OFF setting and is lit in the ON setting.
- Hold the tongs or fold out the support stand underneath and place them on a heat resistant surface.
- Never use the tongs until your hair is completely dry.
- Divide your hair in sections and use hair clips to keep it separated. Thick or long hair may need several treatments.
- Open the hair clamp and clamp down your hair (take about a 5 cm width of hair at a time). Make sure that your hair is evenly distributed and begin twisting the tongs upwards towards your scalp.
- Keep the hair wrapped around the curling tongs for 5–10 seconds depending on your hair type. Carefully open the clamp and remove your hair from the tongs.
- Slide the switch to the OFF position until the indicator light turns off to turn it off. Unplug the lead once you are finished.
- Let the curling tongs cool completely before putting them away for storage.
We recommend that you use a heat protecting hair care product on your hair before you begin using the curling tongs.
Warning!
- Parts of the curling tongs can become very hot during use. Use extreme caution when handling them.
- Do not use the curling tongs on artificial hair, wigs, etc. Artificial hair has the potential to melt.
- Never use the curling tongs if you have sensitive hair, an injured scalp or if you are overly sensitive to the heat.
- Never use the tongs on wet hair.
Care
- Store the product in its original package when you are not using it. Do not wind the lead around the tongs. Carefully fold up the lead away from the tongs.
- Let the curling tongs cool completely before putting them into their box.
- Pull out the plug and let the curling tongs cool before cleaning them.
- Always clean the curling tongs after you have used oils or other hair care products in your hair. Wipe the tongs with a slightly moistened wash cloth. Make sure that the product is completely dry before using or putting it in its box.
- Never use strong detergents or solvents.
- Never immerse the curling tongs in liquid.
- The curling tongs should only be repaired by qualified service staff.

When disposing of the product, this must be done in accordance with local ordinances. If you are uncertain how to do this, contact your local municipality.
