Congratulations on purchasing Innoliving Alcohol Tester model INN-009 an accurate and reliable product. For the limits of alcoholic rate of various countries, please refer to the internal laws.

WARNINGS

The tester provides you with information to determine your blood alcohol level at the same time you use the test. Blood alcohol concentration changes as time passes and measurement may be affected by environmental conditions.

This product is designed to be used as reference only in order to promote a responsible and safe driving. It doesn't replace or exclude possible tests conducted by competent authorities, which can have different readings. The tester readings have no legal value and do not relieve any individual responsibility. You should not rely upon it as the sole basis to determine intoxication or whether it is safe to drive a vehicle, operate equipment, or engage in dangerous activities. Innoliving Srl is not liable for the improper use of this product for any reason.

• Do not use chemicals to clean the tester directly.
• In case the product is not used for a long period, it is advisable to remove batteries.
• Never try to repair the product by yourself but always address to specialised centres.

BEFORE STARTING USING THE PRODUCT

Slide down to open the battery compartment. Insert batteries and close it carefully; please note the correct polarity direction in the battery compartment, otherwise, you may damage the unit.

To ensure an accurate and not altered testing result it is advisable not to smoke, eat menthol candies, chocolate and take medicines. Moreover, please avoid using the product if there is too much wind or in crowded environments, where generally there is a high smoke concentration.

Keep the unit way from all liquids and store in a safe place. Do not wipe it with any clearing agent.

WHEN TO USE THE PRODUCT

In order to get the more reliable record as possible, it it advisable to wait about 45 minutes, from the last alcohol consumption, before measuring. As matter of fact, blood needs about 45 minutes to absorb alcohol. On the contrary, if the measuring is carried out before these 45 minutes, values can be altered in the following ways: if the measuring is carried within the first 7 minutes from the last alcohol consumption, records are very high; because mouth and oesophagus mucosa absorb alcohol partially and they need about 7 minutes to eliminate it.

On the contrary, if the measuring is carried out between 30-45 minutes after the last alcohol consumption, values can be lower since blood may need some minutes before absorbing alcohol totally.

HOW TO USE THE PRODUCT

Press the ON/OFF button, the display would switch on with a buzzer brief ringing. The writing „WARM UP“ flashes on the display and the 10 seconds initial warm-up begins, there is a countdown on the LCD from 10-0; then the writing „WARM UP“ disappears and the „BLOW“ guide you to have a testing immediately. When the „BLOW“ appears, blow into the „Gas Entry“. Please have a deep breath and breathe out directly to gas entry within 3 cm from the sensor. The measured value will be displayed for 8 seconds and at the same time you hear a buzzer ringing; then the tester will switches itself automatically off. For a new testing, please press the switch button again and repeat the above steps. For a more accurate reading, it is advisable to wait 60 sec. Between different measurements.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

Remove the battery cover. Carefully remove the old batteries. Insert 2 new battery observing the polarity markings in the compartment. Please use new batteries of the same type and brand. Close the battery compartment.

Note: If the display shows the "LO" symbol, the battery must be replaced.

It is recommendable to remove the batteries from the product in case of long no-use.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Avoid any strong shock and drop to keep the tester in careful package or deposit
• Store it in a dry place and away from heated surfaces.
• Do not wipe it with any cleaning agents; in case of some gas spreading, the normal testing would be disturbed.
• Store the product out of children reach.
• Never immerse the product into water or into any other liquids. Do not get the breath pipe wet.
• In case the measuring is carrying out in smoking environment, records can be altered.
• The product has been set according to the actual limit, fixed by the European community 0,5gr/l.
• Alter long time storage, if the initial alcohol level of the LCD is on high level, please switch the product on and off different times to stabilize the level at 0.00.
