Frequently Asked Questions - HM200 Coline

How do I clean the hand blender properly?
Detach the blending shaft and rinse it under running water immediately after use. Wipe the motor body with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Never immerse the motor unit in water.
Can I blend hot liquids with the Coline HM200?
Yes, but allow hot liquids to cool slightly before blending to avoid splashing. Do not immerse the blender in boiling liquid; let it cool to about 80°C.
What is the maximum capacity for blending?
Use a container that is tall and narrow to minimize splashing. Do not fill beyond two-thirds full to prevent overflow during blending.
Is the blending blade removable?
The blade is not user-removable for safety reasons. Clean the entire shaft as a unit. Do not attempt to disassemble the blade.
Can I crush ice with this hand blender?
The Coline HM200 is not designed for crushing ice. Use it for soft foods and liquids. Ice can damage the blades and motor.
What does the speed button do?
If equipped with a variable speed control, press and hold the button for higher speed. Release for lower speed. Some models have two fixed speeds – low for gentle mixing, high for blending.
How do I prevent splashing?
Start the blender while immersed in the liquid, then move it up and down gently. Use a tall container and tilt slightly to create a vortex.
Are replacement parts available?
Yes, you can purchase a blending shaft or whisk attachment (if included) from authorized retailers. Contact Coline customer service for spare parts.
What safety precautions should I take?
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or attaching parts. Do not let the motor unit get wet. Keep out of reach of children and do not touch moving blades.
How should I store the hand blender?
Store in a dry place with the motor unit upright. Keep the blending shaft detached and dry. Avoid placing heavy objects on top.
