How do I start the pressure washer?

Ensure the unit is connected to power and water supply. Press the On/Off switch, then squeeze the trigger on the gun.

What type of detergent can I use?

Use only Kärcher recommended detergents or mild, biodegradable detergents. Do not use acidic or solvent-based cleaners.

How often should I clean the inlet filter?

Clean the inlet filter after every 10 hours of use or if water flow decreases. Remove the filter and rinse under running water.

My pressure washer is not building pressure. What should I check?

Check for air in the system: with the gun open, let water run until no air bubbles. Also check the inlet filter for debris and ensure the hose is not kinked.

Can I use an extension cord?

Yes, but use a heavy-duty extension cord rated for the power consumption (min. 14 AWG) and keep it as short as possible.

How do I store the pressure washer?

Drain all water from the unit, hose and gun. Store in a frost-free location. Disconnect the hose and power cord.

Do not use water above 40°C (104°F) to avoid damaging the pump.

The pressure washer shuts off suddenly. Why?

The thermal overload protection may have triggered due to overheating. Let the unit cool down for 15 minutes before restarting.
