You may have used similar products before, but please take time to read the user guide. This guide has been prepared for you to get the most out of the products you have purchased.
Safety matters
Please keep this user's manual at a safe place for future reference. If you pass the appliance on, pass on the manual too. Remove all packaging materials, however keep them until you are sure that the appliance is operational. In an event where an issue or a failure occurs regarding he appliance, consult Fakir Authorized Service.
Liability
Fakir will accept no liability for damages resulting from failure to comply with the operating instructions. Fakir will accept no liability in case the appliance is used for other purposes than its intended use or handled, repaired or serviced improperly. Warnings on the operating instructions

The appliance fulfils the basic requirements of the following laws, EU Directives / regulations, as well as further relevant standards:

The appliance bears the CE-mark on the rating plate.

Fakir reserves the right to change design and equipment.
Intended Use
The appliance is designed for home use and it is not suitable for commercial or industrial use. In case of any failure arising from otherwise use, our authorized services will provide out of warranty service.
This product is suitable only to be used in well-insulated areas or rare usage.
Unauthorized Use
In cases of unauthorized use specified below, the appliance may be damaged or cause injuries;
This appliance shall not be used by individuals (including children) who have limited physical, cognitive or mental capacity or insufficient experience and/or information unless they are instructed in the ways to use the appliance by their legal guardian and being supervised. The children should be supervised to avoid them from playing with the appliance.
This appliance can be operated by children of 8 years and above, people with limited physical, auditory and cognitive skills or people with lack of experience and knowledge as long as they are under supervision or they are provided instructions regarding the operation of the appliance.
Keep small items of packaging and plastic bags away from children. There is a risk of choke!
In case they are not older than 8 years old or unsupervised, children should not clean or maintain the appliance.
Keep the appliance and its cable from the reach of children aged <8.
The children should be supervised to avoid them from playing with the appliance. The electrical appliances are not toys for children! Therefore keep the appliance away from the children. The children may not be aware of the dangers related to the utilization of the appliance. Do not let the power cord dangle from the appliance.
Security Warnings
When utilizing an electrical appliance, the precautions below shall always be taken in order to prevent fire, shock or personal injuries
- This appliance shall only be used within its own utilization field as specified in the user's manual.
- Using electrical appliances may be dangerous, so please read the user's manual before using the appliance.
- Before plugging the appliance, into the power outlet ensure that the voltage matches the rated value specified in the type label.

Do not cover your heater to prevent excessive heating.

- Do not place your appliance right below an electrical outlet.
- Do not operate the appliance in such a way that the power cord is left under the carpet and make sure that it is not stepped on.

Before the first use, check the appliance for damages and malfunctions. If there is any malfunction or damage to the appliance, do not use the appliance and get in contact with Fakir Authorized Service.
- Do not use extension cables as it may occur overheating and fire.
- Use the appliance only with its authentic accessories.
- Use your appliance with a well-ventilated area.
- Do not inset any objects into the ventilation openings of the appliance.
- Use your appliance on flat and dry surfaces.
- The appliance should not be installed or used in garages or wooden huts, etc. to avoid risk of fire.
- Do not operate your appliance on flammable materials or surfaces.
- Combustible (gases, solvents, pressurized spray cans) or easily flammable materials (wood, paper, etc.) should not be stored in the heated room. Keep such materials away from the heater.
- Do not use your appliance in areas where there is gasoline, paint or other flammable liquids.
- Do not use to close to other objects.
- A minimum distance of 30cm should be maintained between the heather and other materials to prevent ignition.
- Do not use your appliance nearby the bathroom, shower or swimming pool.
- Never place your appliance in places where it may fall into a bathtub or other water containers.
- This appliance is hot during use. In order to prevent burns and personal injury do not expose your skin to hot surfaces. Carry the appliance from the holder

Unpacking
Unpack the appliance and before starting to use it check for damages and malfunctions. If there is any malfunction or damage to the equipment, do not use the appliance and get in contact with Fakir Authorized Service.
-Repair works shall only be undertaken by Fakir service. Repairs that are inadequate or carried out by unauthorized personnel may pose harm to the user.
-Do not punch a hole or a tear on the section where the on/off button is.

Operating instructions
1) Before using your appliance, make sure it is on a flat and fixed surface.
2) Make sure your appliance is turned off and plug it in a grounded AC socket.
3) To operate the appliance, set the power control knob to the mode you want to choose. Operate your appliance by adjusting the thermostat knob according to your preference between Low Mode and High Mode. The red indicator light is on when the appliance is running.
The appliance is in the cold wind mode when the power control knob indicates the symbol.
The appliance is in the warm wind mode when the power control knob indicates the "I" symbol.
The appliance is in the intense warm wind mode when the power control knob indicates the "II" symbol.
4) You can use the power control knob to adjust the operating power of your appliance. The low mode power is 1000 watts at "I" and the high mode power is 2000 watts at "II".
5) Turn the thermostat control button clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the temperature you want. Your appliance will automatically keep the room temperature at the desired level.
6) Your appliance has an overheat protection system that automatically closes the appliance when the heater parts are overheated.
7) In order to turn off your appliance completely, move all the control knobs to "0" (zero) position and unplug the appliance.

NOTE!
Do not try to rotate your appliance more than the maximum level it can rotate.
Falling Protection
Your appliance is protected by a safety system that automatically turns off the appliance
when it falls or when it is in danger of falling. This feature helps prevent accidents and the heater keeps operating when turned upright.
Overheat Protection
Your appliance is protected by overheat protection that automatically turns off the appliance in case of overheating. In this case, unplug the appliance, wait for approx. 30 minutes and eliminate the possibility of overheating, by; Check whether the appliance, cable, and the plug are damaged. If there is no damage, plug the appliance in again and operate as described above. If your heater still does not work, contact the Fakir Authorized Service for assistance.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Unplug your appliance and wait for the heater to cool before cleaning.
- Wipe the outer surface of your appliance with a soft damp cloth (non-wet cloth) and dry the outer surface before operating the heater.

WARNING!
Do not submerge the heater.
Do not use cleaning chemicals such as detergents and abrasive materials.
Do not let the inside of the appliance get wet, otherwise danger may occur.
- Put the heater back in its original package or put it in a clean box in order to store the heater.
Recycling
Dispose of the appliance according to the environmental regulations applicable in your country.

Electrical waste must not be disposed of together with household waste. Dispose the appliance to the waste baskets designated for electrical waste. The packaging of the appliance consists of recycling-capable materials. Throw out them in suitable recycling bins.

This appliance is compatible with 2012/19/EU AEEE directive.

Your appliance is processed via Quality Control against any malfunction.
Dispatch
Carry the appliance in the original package or a similar, well-padded package to prevent damage to the appliance.
Warranty
We provide a warranty for the appliance subject to the following conditions:
- The purchaser's main place of residence is in the EU and the appliance was bought from a dealer located in Germany.

We undertake to repair the appliance free of charge, including free shipping if it becomes defective due to a material or assembly error within 24 months (within 12 months if used commercially or used for self-employed professional purposes) and if notification of the defect is given within the warranty period. A pre-condition of our warranty is that the appliance always treated properly. The warranty terms start on the date of purchase.

Parts that are subject to normal wear (e.g. drive belts, batteries, brushes, filters) do not fall under the terms of the warranty.

The warranty will lapse if the appliance is modified or repaired by persons we have not authorised. Also no to third party spare parts or accessories may be used.

The main focus of the warranty is on performing repairs or exchanging defective parts. Repairs on site can only be demanded for large stationary appliances. When making a warranty claim, the invoice or purchase receipt from the dealer stating the date of purchase must be presented.

If a repair fails and the damage or defect cannot be rectified even after a second attempt, the appliance will be replaced with one of the same value. If neither repair nor replacement is possible, the customer is entitled to return the device and demand reimbursement of the purchase price. In the event that the appliance is exchanged or the purchase price reimbursed, a usage fee may be raised for the period that the appliance was in use.

Warranty work does not extend the warranty period or mark the start of a new warranty period. The warranty term for installed spare parts ends at the same time as the warranty period for the whole appliance.

The contractual and/or statutory regulations relating to the correction of faults is not affected by the provisions of the warranty.
