How do I use the temperature setting function?

Fill the kettle with water, place on base, and press the temperature increase (4) or decrease (2) buttons to set desired temperature. The indicator (3) shows the set temperature. Then press the ON/OFF button (5) to start heating. The kettle will switch off automatically when the set temperature is reached.

How do I activate the keep warm function?

First press the keep warm button (1), then press the ON/OFF button (5). The kettle will maintain the current water temperature for up to 2 hours.

What is the correct water level?

Always fill between the MIN and MAX markings. Overfilling may cause hot water to spurt out.

Can I boil other liquids like milk or soup?

No, only heat water. Do not put tea bags, loose tea, or any other ingredients into the kettle.

How do I clean and descale the kettle?

Unplug the kettle and let it cool. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Remove the scale filter and clean it separately. Use a descaling agent suitable for electric kettles, following the product instructions.

Why does the water taste like plastic initially?

This is normal for new kettles. Boil and discard water at least 5 times before use. Leave the kettle open for 24 hours to eliminate any residual taste. The materials are certified safe.

Is the kettle safe to leave unattended?

No, do not leave the kettle running unattended. It has automatic shut-off, but supervision is recommended, especially near children.

What should I do if the kettle does not turn on?

Check that the base is connected to a working outlet and that the kettle is properly seated on the base. Ensure the water level is above MIN. If still not working, contact customer service.

Can I immerse the kettle or base in water?

No, never immerse the kettle or its base in water or any liquid. This could cause electric shock. Only wipe with a damp cloth.

How do I dispose of the kettle at the end of its life?

Do not throw it in household waste. Take it to a designated recycling point for electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). This helps protect the environment and conserve resources.

Warning: The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot be integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating this appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, voltage fluctuation or the modification or adjustment of any part of the appliance.

To protect against a risk of fire or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical appliances, including the following:

1. Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and that the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed in accordance with applicable electrical codes according to EN.
2. Do not use the kettle if the power cord or plug is damaged, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped on the floor and damaged or dropped into water. All repairs, including cord replacements, must be carried out at a professional service centre! Do not remove the protective covers from the appliance; there is a risk of electric shock!
3. Protect the appliance against direct contact with water and other liquids, to prevent potential electric shock. You may not immerse the kettle or its base in water or other liquids!
4. Do not use the kettle outdoors or in wet environments. Do not touch the cord or kettle with wet hands. Risk of electric shock.

5. Leaving the kettle cord connected to outlet unattended is not recommended. Disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet prior to any maintenance. Do not remove the power cord from the outlet by yanking the cord. Unplug the power cord from the outlet by grasping the plug.

6. Do not allow the power cord to touch hot surfaces or run the cord over sharp edges.

7. Use original accessories only.
8. Do not leave the kettle running unattended.
9. Close supervision is necessary for operating the kettle near children! Never allow children to use the appliance alone to protect them against the risk of electric shock. Keep the appliance out of reach of children. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or worktop on which the appliance stands.
10. Keep the kettle away from hot surfaces and sources of heat (for example, hot plates).
11. Use the kettle only in accordance with the instructions given in this manual. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by the improper use of this appliance.

12. This appliance is intended for domestic use and other similar areas like:

13. kitchenettes in shops, offices and other workplaces;

14. appliances used in agriculture;
15. appliances used by guests in hotels, motels and other residential places;

16. appliances used in bed and breakfast establishments.

17. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older and people with lower physical or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed to use the product in a safe manner and understand the potential dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user should not be done by children unless they are older than 8 years and under supervision. Children under 8 years old must keep away from the appliance and its power supply.

Make sure that the kettle stands on an even surface to prevent tipping over and causing injury while cooking. During the operation, and also right after cooking, do not touch the outer surface of the kettle or the

lid, the outer surfaces are hot. Do not use the appliance close to objects which can be damaged by steam.

Do not immerse in water!

DANGER TO CHILDREN: Children may not play with the packaging material. Do not let children play with the plastic bags. Risk of suffocation.

CAUTION

1. Always use cold water when filling the kettle.
2. The water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. levels! Hot water may spurt out if the kettle is overfilled.
3. Switch off the kettle before removing it from the base.
4. Always make sure the lid is well closed.
5. The base and kettle body should not be wet.
6. Only use the kettle in combination with its original base.

You may not use the kettle to heat any other liquids than water. Never put in the kettle tea bags, loose tea or any other ingredients for making beverages!

USING THE APPLIANCE

Remove and wash the appliance before first use with an ordinary detergent used for washing dishes. Then rinse with lukewarm water.

Fill the kettle with clean, cold and potable water up to max. level before first use, switch it on and bring the water to a boil. Then pour the water out and repeat the procedure at least five times. With this procedure you will properly clean the kettle and remove any possible after-taste. If you have the impression that you taste plastic from the boiled water, we recommend to repeat the procedure. It is also recommended the leave the empty kettle open for 24 hours. The kettle material coming into contact with water is certified as harmless to health. Any slight "smell" or "after-taste" during initial use after unpacking kettle is a normal phenomenon and should not be cause for return of the appliance.

1. Fill the kettle with water. Do not overfill the kettle, watch the water level indicator.
2. Place the kettle on its base.
3. After connecting the appliance to the electrical socket, press the ON/OFF button (5). Blue backlight of the buttons signals the heating of water.
4. The kettle will switch off automatically after the boiling process has finished.
5. Unplug the cord from the outlet.
6. Do not open the lid when pouring the water out.

Warm up to set temperature

1. Start the same way as when boiling water.
2. Use the buttons to increase (4) and decrease (2) the temperature to set the desired heating temperature. The set temperature is displayed by illuminating the corresponding indicator (3).
3. Press the ON/OFF (5) button.
4. When the set temperature is reached, the kettle switches off automatically.

Keep warm temperature

The kettle is equipped with the function of maintaining the temperature, when activated with the appropriate button (1), the kettle will maintain the current water temperature for a maximum of 2 hours.

- Press the temperature maintenance function button (1) first and then the on/off button (5)

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Always unplug the cord from the outlet before cleaning!

Wipe the outside of the appliance with a moist cloth and then wipe dry.

The scale filter can be removed for the cleaning process. Use designated and commonly available agents to remove scale from the kettle.
