The * *** freezercompartmentmaybe usedtofreezefreshandcookedfoods,makeice cubesandstorebothdeep-frozenandfrozen products.Thefreezerisdefrostedmanually. Therefrigeratorcompartmentdefrosts automaticallyandisusedtostorefreshfood anddrinks.

Formaximumsatisfactionfromyour appliancecarefullyreadtheseuser instructionswhichcontainadescriptionof yourapplianceandusefulfoodstoragetips.

Keepthisbookletinasafeplaceforfuture consultation.

1. After unpacking, makes sure the appliance is undamaged and that the doord closes correctly. Any damagemust be communicated to your retailer within 24 hours of delivery.
2. Wait at least 2 hours before connecting the appliance to the powersupply.
3. Makesureapplianceinstallationandelectrical connectionsaremadebyaqualifiedtechnicianin compliancewiththemanufacturer'sinstructions andcurrentlocalsafetyregulations.

2.Appliance

The appliance is built from reusable materials. If you decide to spread refrigerator, it must be disposed of in compliance with local waste disposals. Before scrapping, cutoff the powercables that the appliance cannot be connected to themains. Dispose of the appliance at an authorised collection centre for refrigerant.

Switchingontherefrigerator

Insertthepluginthemainsoutlet. Thethermostatsetsthetemperatureinboththe refrigeratorandfreezercompartments.

Settingthetemperature:

1. Forcorrectoperationandoptimumfood storageinbothcompartments. Referto enclosedproductsheetforthermostat settinginstructions.

2. If you wish to change the temperature setting in the compartments, turn the thermostat adjustment knob as required:

3. ForWARMERTEMPERATUREsturnthe thermostatknobdowntopositions1 or 2.

4. ForCOLDERTEMPERATUREsturnthe thermostatknobuptopositions5 to 7.

Note:

Thetemperatureinsidethetwocompartmentsisin partdeterminedbythepositionoftheappliance,theroomtemperatureandfrequencywithwhich thedoorsareopened. Usethethermostattoadjustthetemperaturein relationtothesefactors.

• Storeliquidsinclosedcontainers.
• Thestorageofgreenswithahighwatercontent maycausecondensationtoforminsidethe bottomdrawer.Thisisquitenormalhowever, andinnowayimpairsrefrigeratorperformance.

Refertothead adjacent table for fresh food storagetimes (months).

When you purchase frozen food, make sure:

• Thepackagingisundamaged(frozenfoodin damagedpackagingmayhavedeteriorated). Ifthepackagebulgesorismarkedbyliquid stains,theproducthasnotbeencorrectly storedandmayhavepartiallythawed.
• Whenshopping, leave frozen food purchases until last and transport items in insulated bags.
• Placeitemsinthefreezerassoonasyouget home.
• Iffoodhaspartiallythawed, donotrefreeze. Consumewithin24hours.
• Avoidsubjectingfrozenfoodstotemperature variations. Observethe "Bestbeforedate" on the packaging.
• Alwaysobservethestorageinformationon packages.

Makingicecubes

- Filltheicecubetraythreequartersfullwith waterandplaceinthebottomofthefreezer compartment. Iftheicecubetraystickstothebottomofthe compartmentdonotusepointedorsharp instrumentstodetachthem.

HOWTODEFROSTANDCLEANTHEFREEZERCOMPARTMENT

Werecommenddefrostingthefreezer compartmentonceortwiceayearwhen icehasbuiltuptoabout3mmonthe wallsandwhenthefreezercontentsarelow.

1. Open the door, remove the food from the freezer, wrap in paper and pack together in an insulated bag or cool part of the house.

2. Unplugtheappliance.

3.Leavethedooropentoallowtheiceonthe freezerwallstothaw.

1. Removethedefrostwaterfromthebottom ofthefreezercompartment.

2. Cleanwithaspongesoakedinasolutionof lukewarmwaterandneutraldetergent. Donotuseabrasiveproducts.

6.Rinseanddrythoroughly.

●Note: To avoid irreparable damage to the freezer compartment, donotuse pointedor sharp metal instrument to scrape office or heat the compartment artificially.

Regularlycleantherefrigerator compartment.Therefrigerator compartmentdefrostsautomatically.

Theformationofwaterdropletsontheback walloftherefrigeratorcompartmentindicates thattheautomaticdefrostingcycleisunderway. Thedefrostwaterischannelledtoarun-offand collectedinacontainerwhereitevaporates. Keeptherun-offchannelcleanusingthespecial toolsupplied.Thisensuresthatdefrostwateris drainedefficiently.

Beforecleaningtheappliance,unplugitfrom themains.

●Cleantherefrigeratorinteriorwithasponge soakedinasolutionoflukewarmwaterand/orneutaldetergent.

●Rinseanddrythoroughlywithasoftcloth. Donotuseabrasiveproducts.

●Theedgeoftherefrigeratordoormay behot. Thisisnotafaultbutisintended topreventtheformation of condensation.

INSTALLATION

  ●Makesurethereissufficientclearanceabove andbelowtherefrigeratortoensurefreeair circulation.
• Cleantheapplianceinterior(see"Howtoclean therefrigeratorcompartment").
  ●Mounttheaccessories.

ELECTRICALCONNECTION

●Electrical connections must be made in accordance with local regulations.
●Voltageandpowerconsumptioninformationis shownontheratingplateonthesideofthe fruitandvegetabledrawer.
●Theappliancemustbeearthedas prescribedbylaw. Themanufacturer declinesallliabilityforinjurytopersons andanimalsordamagetoproperty resultingfromfailuretocomplywiththis requirement.
- If the appliance plug and wall socket are incompatible, the socket must be replaced by a qualified electrician.
- Donotuseextensionleadsormultiple adaptersetc.

FREE-STANDINGAPPLIANCES (only)
