How to insert the CINESSD into the Inspire 2?

Turn off the device, then insert the CINESSD into the designated slot. Make sure it is properly inserted before turning on the device.

How to export files from the CINESSD to a computer?

Remove the CINESSD from the device, insert it into the DJI CINESSD Reader, then connect the reader to a computer via USB cable. An icon will appear to start the export. Use the "Safely Remove Hardware" function after transfer.

Can I delete files directly on the CINESSD without a computer?

No, the CINESSD Reader only allows export. To delete files, insert the CINESSD into the device (e.g., Inspire 2) and use the DJI GO 4 app to format the disk. Remember to back up your data first.

What to do if the CINESSD is not detected by the device?

Check that the CINESSD is properly inserted. Turn off the device, remove and reinsert the CINESSD. Make sure the contacts are clean.

The DJI CINESSD* is a high performance storage device designed for storing files in a lossless format.

Usage

Using an INSPIRE ^TM 2 as an example.

Storing Files

1. Power off the aircraft.
2. Insert the CINESSD into the aircraft. If the CINESSD is not detected, check if it is inserted correctly.

1. Power on the aircraft.
2. Information about the CINESSD will be available in the DJI GO™ 4 app*.

Exporting Files

1. Power off the aircraft. Remove the batteries and then the CINESSD.

1. Insert the CINESSD into the DJI CINESSD Station, then connect the station to a computer via a USB cable.

1. When connected, an icon named "DJI_A" followed by a number sequence will appear. Click to start the file export.

2. Safely remove the station before unplugging it from your computer.

No additional software is required for exporting data from the CINESSD. You may also use the following DJI software based on your system.

* Windows: DJI Camera Exporter.

• Mac: DJI CINELIGHT™.

• DO NOT remove the CINESSD when it is powered on.

- Insert the CINESSD before connecting the station to the computer.

• The station icon will vary based on your computer operating system.

Deleting Files

To guarantee the high performance of the DJI CINESSD, the station only supports file exporting. To delete files, please insert the CINESSD into the aircraft and launch the DJI GO 4 app to format the CINESSD to free up storage space.

Ensure to back up your files before formatting the DJI CINESSD.
