Frequently Asked Questions - DU 7111 PA BEKO

How do I clean the lint filter?
Open the loading door, remove the lint filter by pulling it up, open it, and remove lint by hand or soft cloth. For a clogged filter, wash with warm water and dry completely before reinstalling. Clean the filter after every drying cycle.
What should I do if the drying time is too long?
Check if the lint filter is clogged (wash with warm water), if the condenser is blocked (clean it), or if the load is too large. Also ensure the laundry is spun at high speed in the washing machine and the room is well-ventilated.
How do I use the End Time delay function?
Select a program, press the End Time button to set a delay of 3, 6, or 9 hours. Then press Start/Pause to begin the delay countdown. The dryer will start automatically at the set time.
How do I activate the child lock?
Press the End Time and Buzzer buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The child lock indicator will light up. To deactivate, press the same buttons again for 3 seconds. The lock prevents accidental button presses during operation.
Why is the water tank warning indicator flashing?
The water tank is full. Empty the water tank and press Start/Pause to resume the program. The tank must be drained after each drying cycle to avoid interruption.
Can I stack this dryer on top of a washing machine?
Yes, but only if the washing machine depth matches the dryer depth (see installation table). Use a fixing device installed by an authorized service agent. Ensure the total weight (approx. 180 kg full load) is on a solid floor.
What types of laundry can be dried?
Only laundry with a label indicating it is suitable for tumble drying. Do not dry delicate fabrics, wool, silk, or items with rubber foam. Check the care labels and sort by fabric type.
How do I clean the condenser?
Open the kick plate, unlock the 2 condenser locks, pull out the condenser, clean it with pressurized water (e.g., shower head), let it drain, then reinsert and lock. Do this every 30 cycles or once a month.
What does the anti-creasing function do?
After the program ends, the drum tumbles laundry every 10 minutes for up to 2 hours to prevent wrinkles. Remove laundry promptly if you want to avoid this.
How do I change the illumination lamp?
The lamp is not user-serviceable. Contact the Authorized Service to replace the bulb/LED. The lamp is designed for extreme conditions (vibrations, high temperature).
