How to use the Orbegozo CU 6500 can opener?

Rotate the lever upwards, place the can under the retaining axis against the serrated wheel, then lower the lever to pierce the can. The device stops automatically when the lid is open.

General Safety Instructions

1. SPECIFIC SAFEGUARDS

• Check if the voltage of the appliance corresponds to the main voltage of your home. Rated voltage: AC220-240V 50Hz.
• Place the device on a flat stable surface.
• Never use the appliance near a sink filled with water or other liquids.
• If the device has fallen into the water never try to hold it, but pull the plug from the socket.
• Never use the device for opening cans of flammable liquids.
• The can opener shall not operate for more than 5 continuous cycles and the interval between each two cycles shall be at least 15s.

USE

Remove the unit and blade bracket from the package before the first time use.

1. To attach blade bracket to the can opener, make the key tabs align with the key slots, push it frontward to fix it (fig 1), then press down the blade bracket to ensure it has been assembled in place (fig 2). Then lift the blade bracket.
2. Connect to power source.
3. Turn the lever up and put the can under the retainer axis and against the control wheel. Push the lever down and pierce the can, the machine will start working now. Keep pushing on the lever; the device will automatically stop when the lid is fully opened.

NOTE: The can required to be opened shall be 50mm to 100mm in diameter and 178 mm max in height. In the case total weight of can is over 510g, it is necessary to press and hold the can opener to avoid overturning.

1. Grab the can and lift the lever to remove the tin.

2. Please ensure that you do not cut yourself when you remove the lid, the lid is very sharp. NOTE: The time of opening cans continuously must not exceed 3 minutes.

USE OF THE SHARPENER

Place the knife's blade in the sharpener located at the back of the unit and slide it several times. Do not attempt to sharpen serrated knives! Uneven polishing can be avoided by not pushing too hard on the knife during sharpening.

USE OF THE BOTTLE OPENER

Position the bottle with the cap under the front rim of the bottle opener. Push down the bottle to remove the cap whilst steadying the unit with one hand.

CLEANING

1. Unplug the appliance from the socket.
2. Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.
3. Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth and dry it with a soft, clean cloth. Never use abrasives.
