INSTALLATION
Technicalinformationfortheinstaller
Thiscookinghobcanbeembeddedina worktop20to50mmthick.Ifanother applianceisnotfittedunderthecookinghob, insertaseparatorpanel,atadistanceofat least20mmfromthecookinghobbottom.
Note: before installation, makesure that the local gas delivery conditions (type and pressure of gas) are compatible with these settings of the cooking hob, as indicated on the rating plate.
- Ifaverticalpieceoffurnitureisinstalled, theremustbeagapofatleast100mm betweenitandtheedgeofthecooking hob.
- Beforeinstallingthecookinghob,removethe plasticfilmthatprotectsit,ifpresent. Theoutersurfacesofthefurnitureorappliances adjoiningthecookinghobmustbeheatresistant (heatprotection"Y", according to local standards).
Assembly
- Applythesuppliedgaskettothecooking hob(unlessithasalreadybeenfitted),after havingcleaneditssurface,asshownin figure.
Tofixthecookinghob,usebrackets withit.

- Positionthebracketsontherelevantboresand fixthembymeansoftheirscrews.
- Make an opening in the worktop, respecting the dimensions indicated in the enclosed product description sheet.
- Install the cooking hobin the worktop.
Important: the powersupplycable and plug must be suitable for the power absorption of the cooking hob, and the cable must belong enough to permit the upward extraction of the cooking hob.

Connectiontogassupply
Thegassupplysystemmustcomplywith currentlocalregulations(seechapter"National SafetyRegulations").
The connection of the cooking hobtothegaspipe network orgascylinder must be made arigid copperorsteelpipewith fittings complying with local standards, or by means of a continuous-surface stainless steel hose complying with local standards. Interpose gasket Ⓑ intheelbow connection. The maximum length of the hose is 2 m.
Important:ifastainlesssteelhoseisused,it mustbeinstalledsoasnottotouchany movablepartofthefurniture.Itmustpass throughanareawherethere areno obstructionsandwhereitispossibletoinspect itonallitslength.

After having installed and fixed the cooking hob, installtheoven.

Connecttongues Ⓐ toend Ⓑ, ass shown in the figure.

If the cooking hobise equipped with an electric hot plate, connect 3 - plug assembly ® to the first 3 bores of the 5 - pole terminal boardon block A, as shown in the figure.

Adjustmenttodifferenttypesof gas
Ifadifferenttypeofgasfromtheoneindicated intheplateisused,thecookinghobmustbe adaptedtoit.
- Thegasnozzlesmustbechangedby CustomerServiceoraqualifiedtechnician. Nozzlesnotsuppliedwiththeappliancemust beorderedfromCustomerService.
- Connect the cooking hob to the gasshut-off valve by means of a pipes suitable for the type of gas used, incompliance with current local regulations.
- Adjust the minimum setting of the taps.
Note:whenliquidpetroleumgasG30/G31is used,theminimumgassettingscrewsmustbe tightenedasfarastheywillgo.

2.Extractburners Ⓑ. - Using asocketspanner of the appropriatesize © unscrew the injectortobereplaced.
- Replaceitwiththeinjectorsuitableforthe newtypeofgas.
5.Re-assembletheinjectorin D.
Adjustingminimumgassetting oftaps
Toensure that the minimum setting is correctly adjusted, remove knob and proceeds as follows:
●tighten(-)toreducetheheightoftheflame;
- loosen(+)toincreasetheheightoftheflame.
The adjustment must be performed with the tap in minimum gassetting position (small flame).

Ventilationofroom
When the appliance is not equipped with safety devices on the burners (thermocouples), the air vents must be increased by 100%, and must be at least 200 cm ^2 , in compliance with the departmental decree of 21 April 1993.
Gassupplysystem
Beforeconnectingtheappliance,makesurethat thegassupplysystemcomplieswithstandards UNI7129andUNI7131.
Connectiontogassupply
The connection to the gas pipenetworkorgas cylinder must be made with a rigid copper or steel pipewith fittings complying with standards UNI 7129, or with a continuous-surface stainless steel hose complying with standards UNI 9891. The maximum length of the hose is 2 m.

Provisionforventilation
Theroomcontainingthisapplianceshouldhave anairsupplyinaccordancewiththecurrent B.S.5440:Part2.
Allroomsrequireapermanentventinaddition totheopenablewindow.Ifthereareotherfuel burningappliancesinthesameroom,B.S.5440:
Part2 should be consulted to determine the requisite air vent requirements.
If the appliance is installed in acellar or basement, it is advisable to provide an air vent of effective area 65 cm, irrespective of the room volume.
GasSafetyRegulations
Itislawthatallgasappliancesareinstalled by competentpersonsinaccordance with the currentgassafety regulations. Failuretoinstall appliances correctly could lead to prosecution. It isinyourowninterest, and that of safety, to ensure that the law is complied with. The hob should be installed in accordance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations, the Building Regulations issued by the Department of the Environment and the Building Standards (Scotland) (Consolidation) Regulations issued by the Scottish Development Department. In the U.K. CORGI registered installers work to safest standards of practice.
BELGIUM
The appliance is supplied with a 1/2" cone threaded end to be connected to the gas supply (according to ISO regulations 7/1 RP 1/2). The connection must be effected in accordance with Standard NBND51-003 with rigid piping or in accordance with specification sheet A.R.G.B./03 with flexible tubing. The appliance must be installed with an AGB-approved stop valve.
