- Do not touch the appliance, the power cord or plug with wet hands or wet parts of your body.

- Place the appliance on a level, stable surface.
- Do not move the appliance when it has a pan on it.
- Do not warm up empty pans, and avoid overheating pans.
- Do not put metal object such as cutlery, lids, tins or aluminium foil on the hob because they can get hot.
- Make sure there is enough free space for the appliance to work safely and without any problems. Leave some free space in front and to the left and right of the appliance.

USE
USING THE TOUCH-BUTTONS

- Place a suitable pan on the centre of the hob.

Plug in the plug.

By pressing the touch-button "ON/OFF" the status light "Function" goes on. The appliance starts and heats the pan with 1200 W. The power can be adjusted from 500 to 2000 W with the touch-buttons "+" and "-"

Press the function selector "FUNCTION" to switch between temperature and time settings. The standard setting for temperature is 200^ and the standard setting for time is 0 minutes.

Use the touch-buttons "+" and "-" to set power (500–2000 W), temperature (60–240 °C) and time (0–180 minutes). Set the time to 0 minutes to disable the timer function. The appliance switches off automatically after 2 hours of inactivity.

An audio prompt is given 30 seconds before the appliance switches off automatically.

Press the touch-button "LOCK" when the required function has been selected to lock the setting. The lock status light goes on and the appliance does not respond to touch. To reset or switch off the appliance press the touch-button "LOCK" until 2 beeps are given. All the touch-buttons can now be used as normal.
WARNING!
The surfaces on the appliance get hot when in use.
PANS THAT CAN BE USED
Use pans made of steel, stainless steel, iron or enamelled iron with flat bottoms and a bottom diameter of 12–26 cm.
PANS THAT CANNOT BE USED
Do not use pans made of copper, aluminium, ceramic or heat-resistant glass, or pans with round bottoms, feet or a bottom diameter less than 12 cm.
MAINTENANCE
- Pull out the plug and wait until the appliance has cooled.
• Always clean the appliance after use. - Dirty pans can cause discolouring or burn marks.
- Do not use hard or abrasive utensils or detergents.
- Wipe the appliance with a cloth moistened with a mild detergent.
- Clean the ventilation openings on the appliance with a vacuum cleaner.
- Do not rinse or pour water on the appliance. The penetration of water can cause the electronic components to stop working.
