No, it requires pans with a ferromagnetic base such as steel, stainless steel, iron, or enamelled iron. The bottom must be flat and 12–26 cm in diameter. Do not use copper, aluminium, ceramic, or heat-resistant glass pans.

How do I lock the controls to prevent accidental changes?

Press the LOCK touch button. The lock indicator will light up and all touch controls will be disabled. To unlock, press and hold the LOCK button until you hear 2 beeps.

What is the maximum timer setting?

The timer can be set from 0 to 180 minutes. Setting it to 0 disables the timer function. The appliance will emit an audio prompt 30 seconds before automatic shut-off.

Can I use the cooktop on a countertop near other appliances?

Yes, but ensure it is on a level, stable surface away from flammable materials. Leave at least 10 cm of free space around the appliance for ventilation. Avoid placing near strong magnetic fields (radios, TVs, etc.) as they may interfere.

What does the auto shut-off feature do?

If no touch operation or pan movement is detected for 2 hours, the cooktop will automatically switch off. A beep sounds 30 seconds before shut-off to warn you.

How should I clean the induction cooktop?

Always unplug and let it cool completely. Wipe with a soft cloth moistened with mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Clean the ventilation openings with a vacuum cleaner. Never rinse or pour water on the unit.

What do the different indicator lights mean?

The ON/OFF status light shows power is on. Temperature status light indicates heating. Timer status light shows timer is active. Warming status light indicates keep-warm mode. Lock status light shows controls are locked.

Is it safe to leave empty pans on the cooktop?

1. Place a suitable pan on the centre of the hob.

2. Plug in the plug.

3. By pressing the touch-button "ON/OFF" the status light "Function" goes on. The appliance starts and heats the pan with 1200 W. The power can be adjusted from 500 to 2000 W with the touch-buttons "+" and "-"

4. Press the function selector "FUNCTION" to switch between temperature and time settings. The standard setting for temperature is 200^ and the standard setting for time is 0 minutes.

5. Use the touch-buttons "+" and "-" to set power (500–2000 W), temperature (60–240 °C) and time (0–180 minutes). Set the time to 0 minutes to disable the timer function. The appliance switches off automatically after 2 hours of inactivity.

6. An audio prompt is given 30 seconds before the appliance switches off automatically.

7. Press the touch-button "LOCK" when the required function has been selected to lock the setting. The lock status light goes on and the appliance does not respond to touch. To reset or switch off the appliance press the touch-button "LOCK" until 2 beeps are given. All the touch-buttons can now be used as normal.

The surfaces on the appliance get hot when in use.

Use pans made of steel, stainless steel, iron or enamelled iron with flat bottoms and a bottom diameter of 12–26 cm.

PANS THAT CANNOT BE USED

Do not use pans made of copper, aluminium, ceramic or heat-resistant glass, or pans with round bottoms, feet or a bottom diameter less than 12 cm.

MAINTENANCE

• Pull out the plug and wait until the appliance has cooled.
  • Always clean the appliance after use.
• Dirty pans can cause discolouring or burn marks.
• Do not use hard or abrasive utensils or detergents.
• Wipe the appliance with a cloth moistened with a mild detergent.
• Clean the ventilation openings on the appliance with a vacuum cleaner.
• Do not rinse or pour water on the appliance. The penetration of water can cause the electronic components to stop working.
