How do I set the time?

Move the alarm selector to AL. SET mode. Use HOUR/MONTH for hour and TEMP/MIN/DATE for minutes. Lock the setting by moving the selector to LOCK.

How do I switch between 12-hour and 24-hour display?

Put the selector in LOCK mode, then press the 12/24/YEAR button to toggle.

What does the snooze button do?

Pressing SNOOZE/LIGHT during the alarm silences it for 5 minutes, then it rings again.

How do I change the temperature unit from °C to °F?

With the selector in LOCK mode, press the TEMP/MIN/DATE button to switch.

Why is my display not lighting up?

Check the light sensor switch: set it to ON for automatic backlight in dim light. Or press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to temporarily light the display for 5 seconds.

How do I turn off the alarm after it starts?

Press any button except SNOOZE/LIGHT to turn off the alarm completely for the day.

How to replace the batteries?

Open the battery cover, pull the black band to remove old batteries, insert new AAA 1.5V batteries with correct polarity. The band should lie under the first battery for easy removal next time.

What does the light sensor do?

When set to ON, the backlight automatically turns on in poor light conditions when you press any button. Set to OFF to disable automatic backlight.

How do I set the date?

Move the selector to DATE SET mode. Set year with 12/24/YEAR, date with TEMP/MIN/DATE, and month with HOUR/MONTH. Lock with LOCK mode.

USE

REPLACING THE BATTERY

1. Open the battery cover by pushing it down.
2. Remove the old battery by pulling the black band.
3. Insert new 1.5 V AAA batteries with the correct polarity as shown by the markings in the battery compartment. The black band should lie under the first battery to simply taking it out.
4. When the batteries are inserted a short audio prompt will be heard and all the symbols are shown on the display. The display then shows 12:00 AM.
5. Replace the cover.

SETTINGS

1. The long line on the selector shows the selected function.
2. Press the button for at least 3 seconds to increase/reduce the setting.
3. Put the selector in LOCK mode to confirm the settings.

Time

1. Put the selector in TIME SET mode. The digits for the time flash.
2. Set the hour with the HOUR/MONTH button. Set the minutes with the TEMP/MIN/DATE button.

12/24 hour display

1. Put the selector in LOCK mode.
2. Push the 12/24/YEAR button to select 12/24 hour display.

Date

1. Put the selector in DATE SET mode. The digits for year and date start flashing.
2. Set the year with the button 12/24/YEAR.
3. Set the date with the TEMP/MIN/DATE button.
4. Set the month with the HOUR/MONTH button.

ALARM

NOTE:

• For the first 10 seconds the alarm is 1 audio prompt per second.
• If the alarm is not switched off within 10 seconds it switches to 2 audio prompts per second for the next 10 seconds.
• If the alarm is not switched off within 20 seconds it continues with 2 audio prompts per second for the next 10 seconds and then 4 audio prompts per second.

Setting the alarm

1. Put the selector for alarm on/off in AL. SET mode. The alarm time starts flashing.
2. Set the hour with the HOUR/MONTH button. Set the

minutes with the TEMP/MIN/DATE button.

Enable/disable the alarm

1. Enable the alarm function by moving the selector for alarm on/off to one of the following modes:

3. The alarm is enabled for each weekday and MO-SU is shown in the display.
4. WORK AL.ON

5. The alarm is only enabled for Monday to Friday and MO-FR is shown in the display.

6. Disable the alarm function by moving the selector for alarm on/off to AL.OFF. mode.

Snooze button

When the alarm goes off press the snooze button to switch off the alarm for the next 5 minutes.

Switching off the alarm

To switch off the alarm press any button except SNOOZE/LIGHT.

SWITCHING FROM °C TO °F

1. To switch the temperature unit put the selector in LOCK mode.
2. Press the TEMP/MIN/DATE button to change the temperature unit.

BACKLIGHT

• The backlight goes on when the SNOOZE/LIGHT button is pressed.
• The backlight stays on for 5 seconds.

SWITCH FOR LIGHT SENSOR

• Put the switch for the light sensor in ON mode to enable the backlight on the display in poor light.
• Put the switch for the light sensor in OFF mode to disable the backlight on the display in poor light.
