IMPORTANT SAFETY REMARKS
When using this electrical appliance, you must observe following fundamental safety precautions:
- Read the complete instructions even if you are familiar with the device.
- This appliance is intended for domestic use or similar uses specified as follows:
- shops, offices or personnel lounges in such workplaces;
- by customers in hotels, motels or other accommodation units;
- Before connecting the coffee machine to the mains, ensure that the voltage level indicated on the appliance label (located under the coffee machine and the base unit) is at the same level of your home's mains supply. If this cannot be achieved, contact your vendor and do not use the coffee machine.
- Turn your coffee machine off before filling, emptying, cleaning or storing.
- Do not overfill the appliance to avoid spillage. The maximum water level is marked in the tank.
- Do not place any part of this appliance on hot surfaces (gas or electrical furnace or hot oven).
IMPORTANT SAFETY REMARKS
- Do not allow the cord to dangle from table or counter edges. Do not allow the cord to come in contact with hot surfaces.
- Do not touch the hot surfaces of the coffee machine - only use the handle on the body.
- Exercise caution when carrying the coffee machine containing hot water. To lift the appliance, always use the handle on the body.
- To avoid electric shocks, the electrical base or the cord shall not be submerged in water.
- Use the coffee machine only with the provided base. Do not use the base unit for other purposes.
- To avoid fire hazard, do not operate the appliance near explosive and/or flammable gases.
- Do not use the coffee machine for any purpose other than heating water.
- This appliance is not designed for any other purpose that is specified in this manual.
CAUTION: Do not operate the coffee machine without any water in it.
KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Before the first operation, fill the coffee machine to the maximum level with fresh water and boil it. Remove the water and repeat.
- The coffee machine shall always be unplugged when filling water.
- To avoid spillage hazard, do not overfill the appliance. The water level indicator will assist you in measuring the correct amount.
- Fill the coffee machine with cold water up to the maximum water level.
- Place the appliance on the electrical base and start it by pressing turn on/off button.
- Meanwhile use a stirrer to stir the coffee.
- As the coffee boils and foam start to foam, turn off the device and pour a portion of the coffee foam in the cups.
- Place the appliance on the power base once again and turn it on; when the coffee boils once again, fill the cups.
- You can adjust the amount of coffee based on your preference.
- The appliance is equipped with a circuit breaker safety system to prevent empty operation. When the appliance is not filled with sufficient amount of water or attempted to operate empty, the circuit breaker safety system will shut the appliance automatically. If this is the case, wait for the heater element to cool down for a few minutes, then fill the appliance and use as intended.
- Place the power base on a dry and level surface. Place the coffee machine on the power base. The coffee machine will fit on the power base and the power connection will be established.
- Plug the cable to a grounded outlet and operate the device by switching the button 'I' (ON)".
- After the coffee machine is left for cooling for 15 to 20 seconds, the appliance may

be used for boiling water by switching the button to "ON". During cooling period, do not force the turn on/off button to "ON" position, otherwise the operating mechanism may malfunction.
- Before switching the coffee machine to off position, do not lift the appliance from the power base.
- If you don't want to re-boil the coffee, do not forget to switch the appliance to off position.
- The coffee machine may be turned at any time by switching the on/off button to '0' (OFF)" position.
- To avoid any risk hazards, a damaged power cable must be changed by the manufacturer, service organization or a likewise qualified technician.
- This appliance should not be used by physically, sensually or mentally handicapped ones (including children) without supervision and guidance of someone who can undertake the responsibility for safety but by the ones who are sufficiently informed and experienced about the use. Close supervision is required to ensure that children don't play with the appliance.
MAINTAINING YOUR COFFEE MACHINE
Wipe the exterior of your coffee machine with a soft and damp cloth or sponge. The residues shall be removed by a cloth that is damped with a non-abrasive liquid detergent. Do not use scrubbing wire or abrasive powder cleaners. Do not submerse your coffee machine to water or any other liquid.
Based on the quality of the water that you are using, calcification may occur in the appliance, especially on the heating element and cause reduced heating capacity. The accumulated calcification (that shall be cleaned and removed) vary based on the hardness of the water at your region and the frequency of the appliance operation.
Calcification is not harmful to health. However when consumed with your drinks, causes a dust-like taste. Therefore the calcification in your coffee machine shall be removed regularly as specified below:
DECALCIFICATION
Remove the calcification from your appliance regularly. This shall be completed twice a year in normal use.
- Fill the coffee machine to the "MAX" level with one dose of vinegar and two doses of cold water. Operate the appliance and wait for it to turn off automatically.
- Keep the mix in the appliance for one day.
- Then remove the mix.
- Fill the coffee machine to the "MAX" level with fresh water and boil it.
- Remove this boiled water and clean the remaining scales and the vinegar.

Rinse the interior of the coffee machine.

This appliance should not be used by physically, sensually or mentally handicapped ones (including children) without supervision or order of someone who can undertake the responsibility and protection for safety.
- The children should be supervised to avoid them from playing with the appliance.
- This appliance is for use in home and similar environments:
- In personnel kitchen areas in shops, offices or other working areas;
- In farm houses;
- by customers in hotels, motels or other accommodation units;
- in places supplying rooms and breakfast service.
- Save these instructions.
- This appliance can be used by physically, sensually or mentally handicapped ones as well as by children under 8 years old only provided that they are supervised or ordered by someone who can undertake the responsibility and protection for safety. Children should not tamper with the appliance. In case they are not older than 8 years old or unsupervised, children should not clean or maintain the product.
- Keep the appliance and its cable from the reach of children aged <8.
- The device is designed for operating with a separate control system or external timer.
DURING TRANSPORTATION AND HANDLING
- Do not drop the product,
- Ensure it does not suffer impact,
- Ensure it doesn't get crushed or squeezed,
- Observe the marks on the packaging.
Unplug the power cord when you don't use the appliance.
