Frequently Asked Questions - SC41A7 SAMSUNG

Why does my Samsung SC41A7 motor not start?
Check that the power cord is plugged in and the socket is working. If the thermal cut-out has activated due to overheating, let the cleaner cool down for about 30 minutes before restarting. Ensure the dust bag is not overly full and the filters are clean.
How do I change the dust bag?
Open the dust compartment cover. Remove the full bag by pulling it out. Insert a new bag, ensuring it is properly seated. Close the cover securely. The indicator light turns red when the bag needs replacing.
Why is suction force decreasing?
Check for blockages in the nozzle, hose, or tube. Remove any obstructions. Also, empty the dust bag if full, and clean the filters. If you have a cyclonic filter, empty the dust barrel when dust reaches the indicating line.
How do I use the blower function?
Disconnect the hose from the cleaner body. Connect the hose clamp to the blow hole located on the left rear side of the cleaner. This function can be used for blowing dust out of tight spaces.
What should I do if the cord does not rewind fully?
Check if the cord is twisted or wound unevenly. Pull out 2-3 meters of cord and press the cord rewind button again. If the problem persists, contact an authorized service agent.
Can I use the vacuum on wet floors?
No, the SC41A7 is for dry indoor use only. Do not use on wet floors or to suck up water, as this can damage the appliance and pose an electrical hazard.
How often should I clean the cyclonic filter?
Empty the dust barrel when dust reaches the indicating line. Clean the cyclonic filter and dust barrel with water and let them dry thoroughly in the shade before reassembly. Remove hair and threads tangled around the net regularly.
What safety precautions should I follow?
Always unplug the cleaner before cleaning or servicing. Do not pick up matches, live ashes, or sharp objects. Keep the cleaner away from heat sources. Use only as intended in a household setting. Supervise children around the appliance.
How do I store the vacuum cleaner?
Park the floor nozzle in the designated storage position. Wrap the cord loosely. Store in a dry place away from heat. The tools can be stored on the cleaner body or in a separate compartment.
What floor tools are included and how do I use them?
Included tools: floor nozzle, dusting brush, crevice tool, and optional blanket brush. Use the floor nozzle for carpets and hard floors. The dusting brush is for furniture and shelves. The crevice tool reaches radiators and corners. The blanket brush is for bedclothes.
