HEAT MOTOR Bowl heater and rotating fountain-head screw
-
OFF
- HEAT Bowl heater only

Before initial use
- Wipe the bowl clean with a soft damp cloth.
- Clean the screw and tower using some warm water mixed with a little washing-up liquid.
- Rinse, and dry all parts thoroughly.
Installation
- Attach the screw to the centre pin.
- Place the tower over the screw and line up the three fountain-head holes with the three holes in the tower.
- Plug the product into a power point. Turn the selector dial to HEAT MOTOR. Check that the screw rotates and the bowl begins to heat up. Once this action is successful, turn the dial back to OFF.
Operating instructions
- Place the product on a level surface and plug it into a power point. Make sure the dial switch is set to the OFF position.
- Melt some chocolate in the microwave oven or in water bath (Bain-marie) on the cooker.
-
Turn the selector dial to the HEAT position, making sure that the indicator light is also on. It is important to allow the bowl a few minutes to come up to operating temperature before pouring in the chocolate.
-
Pour the melted chocolate into the bowl. Fill it to slightly below the bowl's edge. Then turn the selector dial to HEAT MOTOR. The chocolate will then be pumped up through the fountain-head screw and cascade down the tower.
- Let the chocolate flow for 2 minutes, then turn off the motor off for about 30 sec in order to let any possible trapped air bubbles escape from the system.
- If the chocolate seems to flow too slowly, mix it with about 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil to thin it out.
NOTE:
- Use only pure melted chocolate, nothing with nuts or other solid ingredients that can clog the product and prevent it from functioning properly.
- Never add any cold liquids to the melted chocolate. This can make the chocolate solidify.
Care and maintenance
- Make sure that the product is off, unplugged and completely cooled down.
- Clean the screw and tower using some warm water mixed with a little washing-up liquid.
- Remove any remaining chocolate with a kitchen towel. Never pour any excess chocolate down your drain as it will harden and possibly clog up your waste pipes.
NOTE: The motor unit must absolutely not be rinsed or submerged in water.
