Important Warnings
Before using your appliance, read carefully this instruction manual and keep it in a safe place for future reference.
Before functioning with your appliance and to ensure a correct use, do not use it if:
- It was dropped on the floor;
- You see any trace of damage;
- During its functioning an anomaly occurs.
To avoid danger and deterioration of your appliance by incorrect use, it is advisable an attentive and careful reading of the instructions.
Your appliance should not be used for purposes other than the ones expected in the instruction manual. Its safety is designed for household use only and not for commercial uses. The incorrect use will not be comprised and automatically cancels the warranty.

Make sure that, in case of malfunction, you deliver your appliance to a qualified technician.

1.1. Power Energy
Make sure the voltage of the electric network is compatible with the one of the appliance (this appliance should be plugged to an electric network of 230V/50Hz). If it does not match, consult the vendor or Customer Support Service.
1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables
Disconnect the appliance when not in use.
Do not roll up or pull the cord to disconnect the appliance, and do not use to twine the appliance. Keep the cord far from warm surfaces.
Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket, or if it is not working properly.
In case of damage of the power cord, do not use your appliance. Take it to technical assistance for its replacement.
1.3. Humidity and Water
Do not use the appliance in humid places.
Do not let your appliance to catch water under any form, because it can be dangerous. TO AVOID THE DANGER OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK DO NOT EXPOSE THE APPLIANCE TO WATER OR HUMIDITY. Do not place your appliance under water (for example, to wash).
1.4. Cleaning
You should clean the appliance regularly and remove any food remains. Otherwise, the surface may be damaged and it affects the duration of use of the appliance or cause injuries. Follow these steps for an effective cleaning:
- Disconnect the appliance and unplug the power cord from the socket before cleaning.
- Wipe food splashes or liquids on the wall of the microwave oven with a damp cloth. If there is a lot of dirt, you can use a soft detergent. Avoid the use of aggressive spray detergents, as they can stain, scratch or darken the door surface.
- Clean the outer surfaces with a damp cloth. To avoid damages on the operating inside parts, be careful not to leave water in through the vents.
- Clean both sides of the door and window, the door seals and adjacent parts with a damp cloth to remove any spatters or spillage. Do not use abrasive detergents.
- Do not allow the control panel to get wet. Use a soft damp cloth to clean it, leaving the door open to prevent the appliance from turning on by accident.
- In case the appliance functions in humid environments, it is possible that steam can accumulate inside and around the exterior of the door. If this occurs, wipe with a soft cloth.
- Occasionally you should take the glass dish out for cleaning. Place it in the washing machine or wash it with tepid water and soap.
- The rotating ring and the lower surface of the microwave oven should be cleaned regularly to avoid excessive noises. Use a soft detergent to clean the inner surface and place the rotating ring on the dish washer or wash it by hand with mild water and soap. Make sure you place the rotating ring on the right position after cleaning.
- To remove any odour place inside the appliance a proper deep container for microwave oven with some water and with the lemon juice and skin and heat for 5 minutes. After, wipe completely and dry out with a soft cloth.
1.5. General Precautions
- Do not try to operate the microwave oven with the door open as it can result in dangerous exposure to the microwave energy.
- Do not try to interfere with the gearing of the appliance.
- Do not place any object outside the microwave oven turntable.
- Do not allow dirt to accumulate or detergent residues on the seals surface.
- Make sure that all the protective plastics are removed from the inside of the appliance before using for the first time.
- Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface so it can hold its weight and the foods weight that can be cooked in it.
- Do not place your appliance on warm environments or next to flammable materials.
- Keep a free distance from the back of microwave oven to the wall of at least 10 cm; the side to the wall should be at least 5 cm, the free distance above the top surface at least 20 cm to ensure adequate air ventilation. Do not cover or block the air ventilation.
- Do not remove the support of the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance without the glass turntable, the rolling support or the axis being placed correctly.
- Do not use the appliance on an empty load.
- Do not use chemicals or corrosive steams with the appliance.
- In case you need to replace the microwave oven lamp, check with a specialized technician.
- Do not use this appliance as storage for household residues. Place them in adequate containers so they can be collected by responsible entities.
- Do not use outside.
2. UTILIZATION AND FUNCTIONING
2.1. Product Description
1) Door lock
Microwave oven door must be properly closed in order for it to operate.
2) Viewing window
Allow user to see the cooking status.
3) Rotating axis
The glass turntable sits on the axis, the motor underneath drives the turntable to rotate.

4) Rotating ring
The glass turntable sits on its wheels, it supports the turntable and helps it to balance when rotating.
5) Turntable
The food sits on the turntable, its rotation during operation helps to cook food evenly.

WARNING:
- Place the rotating ring first, and then
- Fit the turntable onto the rotating axis and make sure that it is geared in properly.
6) Control panel
See below in details (the control panel is subject to change without prior notice).
7) Waveguide cover
It is inside the microwave oven, next to the wall of control panel, please see figure below.

WARNING:
Never remove the waveguide cover.
2.2. Control Panel
1) Timer
- The max cooking time length that can be set is 30 minutes.
- Each setting is 2 minutes.

- A bell ring will be heard when the timer times out and returns to Zero position.
2) Function / Power knob
There are 6 power levels:

2.3. Installation of Microwave Oven
Remove the packaging and take out the distance limiter from accessory in microwave oven (some models have been installed already), unlock the power cord, according to the specific shape of distance limiter and install by following the given instruction.
The purpose of the distance limiter is to make the microwave oven away from the wall at a certain distance.
Take out all the packing. Carefully check whether there is damage to the microwave oven. Such as:
a. the oven cavity is impacted or pressured.
b. the door is not flat; the switch is not smooth and flexible.
c. the metal Insulated mesh on the door is bended or deformed.
d. the power cord is loose.
IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THESE SITUATIONS ABOVE, CONTACT YOUR NEAREST SERVICE CENTER APPROVED.
- Microwave ovens must be placed under dry and non-corrosiveness environments, kept away from heat and humidity, such as gas burners or water tanks.
- To ensure sufficient ventilation, the distance of the back of microwave to the wall should be at least 10 cm, the side to the wall should be at least 5 cm, the free distance above the top surface at least 20 cm.
- The position of the oven shall be far from the TV, radio or antenna to avoid disturbance. The distance should be more than 5 m.
- The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is accessible, and must ensure a good grounding. In case of leakage, ground loop can be formed to avoid electric shock.
- The microwave oven shall not be placed in a cabinet.
- The back of the oven must be placed against a wall.
- To keep the microwave oven at a safe distance from the wall, it is necessary to install a distance limiter.

1) Push Distance Limiter in the given direction;
2) Make sure Clasp A is secured to Hole A;
3) Insert Clasp B and Clasp C into their respective square holes.
2.3.1. First Use
Due to the possible presence of manufacturing residue or oil in the oven cavity or heating element, it usually has a specific odour, even a slight smoke; It is a normal case and would not occur after several times using. Keep the door or window open to ensure good ventilation. It is strongly recommended to place a cup of water in the turntable, setting at high power and operate for several times.
1) Connect the cord.

WARNING:
- Before connecting the cord, make sure the timer is set to "0" position
- Do not block the ventilation
2) Place the food on the glass turntable and close the door.

WARNING:
- Food must be contained in a utensil.
3) Select the desired power level.
4) Set the timer.

WARNING:
If desired time is less than 10 minutes, turn the timer knob to over 10 minutes position and then turn back to the desired time setting.
5) Once the desired time is set, the cooking begins. If pausing in between is needed, just open the door at any time, and close it to resume operation.
6) When it times out and cooking ends, the microwave oven produces a bell ring, the inside lamp will also be automatically turned off.

WARNING:
If food is removed before the time runs out, make sure to set back the timer to "0" position. This avoids the microwave oven from operating in empty load.
2.4. Preparation
For a correct use of the appliance, you should follow these preparation instructions:
- Place the food correctly - place the thicker ones closer to the edges of the dish.
- Be aware of the cooking time. Cook in the minimum time indicated and increase it if necessary. Over cooking may result in smoke and burns.
- Cover the food to avoid splashes and to provide even cooking.
- Change the position of certain food, like chicken or hamburgers, during the cooking to speed up the process. Food of bigger dimensions, like roasted meet, should be turned at least one time.
- Arrange in a different way certain foods, like meatballs, at half cooking process: from the centre, around the plate and from bottom to top.
To reduce the risk of fire inside the microwave oven you should follow these steps:
- Do not heat food in sealed containers, and do not overcook the food.
- When heating food in plastic or paper containers, keep an eye on the oven due to the possibility of ignition.
- Do not heat oil or fat for deep drying as the temperature of oil cannot be controlled.
- After use wipe the waveguide cover with a damp cloth, followed by a dry cloth to remove any food splashes and grease. Built-up grease may overheat and begin to cause smoke or catch fire.
- If smoke is observed, switch off or unplug the appliance and keep the door closed in order to stifle any flames.
- Close supervision is necessary when using any one-off containers made from plastic, paper or other combustible material.
- When cooking the food with less moisture content or not heat-resistant container, please use low power to avoid burning.
To reduce the risk of explosion and sudden boiling:
- Do not place sealed containers in the oven. Baby bottles fitted with a screw cap or teat are considered to be sealed containers.
- When boiling liquid in the oven, use the wide-mouthed container. Food at the top of the container must stay away with enough space from the mouth to avoid the food spilled boiling.
- Potatoes, sausages and chestnut should be peeled or pierced before cooking.
- Microwave heating of beverages can result in delayed eruptive boiling, therefore care must be taken when handing the container.
- The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars shall be stirred or shaken and the temperature checked before consumption, in order to avoid burns.
- Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in microwave ovens as they may explode, even after microwave heating has ended.
2.4.1. Tips for Cooking with the Microwave Oven
The following factors may affect the cooking result:
Food arrangement
Place thicker areas towards outside of the dish, the thinner part towards the centre and spread it evenly. Do not overlap if possible.
Cooking time length
Start cooking with a short time setting, evaluate it after it times out and extend it according to the actual need. Over cooking may result in smoke and burns.
Cooking food evenly
Food such as chicken, hamburger or steak should be turned once during cooking.
Depending on the type of food, if applicable, stir it from the outside to the centre of the dish once or twice during cooking.
Allow standing time
After cooking times out, leave the food in the oven for an adequate length of time, this allows it to complete its cooking cycle and cools it down in a gradual manner.
Whether the food is done
Colour and hardness of food helps to determine if it is done, these include:
- Steam coming out of all parts of food, not just the edge.
- Joints of poultry can be moved easily.
- Pork or poultry show no signs of blood.
- Fish is opaque and can be sliced easily with a fork.
Browning dish
When using a browning dish or self-heating container, always place a heat-resistant insulator such as a porcelain plate under it to prevent damage to the turntable and rotating ring.
Microwave safe plastic wrap
When cooking food with high fat content, do not allow the plastic wrap to come into contact with food as it may melt.
Microwave safe plastic cookware
Some microwave safe plastic cookware might not be suitable for cooking foods with high fat and sugar content. Also, the preheating time specified in the dish instruction manual must not be exceeded
2.4.2. Tips for Defrosting
Microwave penetrates around 4cm into most food, to maximize defrosting effect, the followings are advised:
- For thick and chunky food, turn the food regularly during operation in order to obtain uniform heating effect;
- If food is over 0.5 Kg, it is advised to turn at least 2 times.
- Defrosted food should be consumed as soon as possible. It is not advised to put back in fridge and freeze again.
2.5. Utensils
It is strongly recommended to use the containers which are suitable and safe for microwave cooking. Generally speaking, the containers which are made of heat-resistant ceramic, glass or plastic are suitable for microwave cooking. Never use the metal containers for microwave cooking and combination cooking as spark is likely to occur. You can take the reference of below table:

2.6. Product Conservation
To preserve the product in the best way possible during its life cycle, you should follow these steps:
- Only use utensils that are suitable for using on the microwave oven.

• To prevent the turntable from breaking:
a. Let the turntable cool down before cleaning.
b. Do not place hot foods or utensils on the cold turntable.
c. Do not place frozen foods or utensils on the hot turntable.
d. Make sure the utensils and turntable do not touch the interior walls during working.
- Do not cover the ventilation openings to avoid damage to the oven because of the over-temperature.
- Do not store food or any other things inside the oven.
- Do not operate the oven without any liquid or food inside the oven. Operate without anything inside would do damage the oven.
- Any accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may cause damage to appliances or persons.
- This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Do not operate the microwave oven without the rotating ring and glass turntable.
- Do not beat the control panel or it will be unworkable.
- The lamp inside the product is used for lighting of the product. This lamp is not suitable for household room illumination.
2.7. Product Maintenance
Please check the following before calling for services.
- Place one cup of water (approx. 150ml) in a glass measure in the oven and close the door securely. Oven lamp should go off if the door is closed properly. Let the oven work for 1 min.
- Does the oven lamp light?
- Does the cooling fan work?
(Put your hand over the rear ventilation openings)
- Does the turntable rotate?
(The turntable can rotate clockwise or counter clockwise. This is quite normal).
- Is the water inside the oven hot?
If “NO” is the answer to any of the above questions, please check your wall socket and the fuse in your meter box.
If both the wall socket and the fuse are functioning properly, CONTACT YOUR NEAREST SERVICE CENTER APPROVED.

CAUTION: MICROWAVE RADIATION
WARNING: It is hazardous for anyone, other than a qualified service technician, to carry out any service for repairing operation which involves removal of any cover which gives protection against exposure to microwave energy.
WARNING: The high voltage capacitor remains charge after disconnection; short the negative terminal of H. V capacitor to the oven chassis (use a screwdriver) to discharge before touching.
During servicing below listed parts are liable to be removed and give access to potentials above 250V to earth.
- Magnetron.
- High voltage transformer.
- High voltage capacitor.
- High voltage diode.
- High voltage fuse.
The following conditions may cause undue microwave exposure during servicing:
- Improper fitting of magnetron;
- Improper matching of door interlock, door hinge and door;
- Improper fitting of switch support;
- Door, door seal or enclosure has been damaged.
Appliance Group 2 Class B
This appliance is a Group 2 because it intentionally produces the radio frequency energy to treat the material and is intended to be used in a local home or a facility connected directly to the distribution of electricity at low voltage supplying domestic premises (Class B).
2.8. Children Safety
WARNING: Accessible parts may become hot during use. Young children should be kept away.
WARNING: Only allow children to use the oven without supervision when adequate instructions have been given so that the child is able to use the oven in a safe way and understands the hazards of improper use.
3. INTERFERENCES
The functioning of the microwave oven can cause interferences on radios, televisions or similar equipments. You can reduce these interferences by following these steps:
- Clean the door and the microwave oven seals protection.
- Change direction of your television antenna, radio...
- Place the microwave oven on another location, far from the receiver of your household appliances, so that they are not connected to the same socket.
4. AFTERMARKET
KUNFT has designed this appliance in order to guarantee the maximum reliability. However, if a problem occurs, by following the procedures suggested in this section you may be able to determine its cause.
Do not attempt to open the appliance - there is a risk of electrical shock.
If you are not able to solve the problem, please contact your seller or manufacturer.
All users must be familiarized with this section. Knowing what could go wrong can help you avoid the occurrence of problems.
WARNING: any attempt of fixing the appliance without contacting the manufacturer will nullify the warranty.
In case the problem persists, take your appliance to an aftermarket section of any Worten, Modelo or Continente store in order to solve the problem.

The warranty supposes a correct use and maintenance of the appliance, namely according to the instructions expressed in this manual. In case otherwise identified, the malfunctions will not be under the warranty.
The repairing of electrical appliances must only be made by qualified technicians, as otherwise there may occur future complications on the appliances.
To avoid unnecessary risks, in case there are any malfunctions on the wires or on another type of components, repairing must be made on the specialized locations of technical assistance, as appropriate tools are needed.
5. ENVIRONMENT CONSERVATION

Aiming to protect the environment, we try to reduce to a maximum the volume of the packages which are confined to three easy separation materials: cardboard, paper and plastic.
The appliance is made of recyclable material, once disassembled by a specialized company. Follow the local legislation concerning recycling of all materials.
