Danger of injury!
- Operate the appliance only with closed lid. Before removing the lid, wait for the blades to stop completely.

Safety button
The blender includes a safety button (9). The blender can only be switched on with the speed control switch (8) if the glass jug (3) was installed correctly on the engine block.
Handling foods
If you want to mix/puree solid ingredients, cut them into 2cm-3cm pieces. Do not fill the mixing jug with large quantities. Always pour some fluid into the mixing jug before filling the mixing bowl with solid ingredients. The max. capacity is 1.25 liters.
- Fill the ingredients in the glass jug (3) (fruit, vegetables, juices, etc.)
- Close the glass jug (3) with the lid (2). Place the removable lid (1) on the mixing attachment (10) as well. By turning it clockwise, it is locked.
• Make sure the lid is closed. - Connect the appliance to the mains and switch the appliance on by turning the speed control switch (8) to the desired speed.
- In order to add ingredients during the mixing process remove the smaller lid (1) from the main lid (2) and add ingredients through the open spot in the lid (2).
- During the mixing process you should place one hand on the appliance.
- When handling more solid or thick ingredients, we recommend to operate the appliance in Ice Crush/ Pulse- Position in order to prevent the blades from being blocked.
- After the mixing process, turn off the appliance (0-position) and disconnect it from the mains.
- In order to remove the mixing attachment (10) from the engine block, simply lift it straight up. Do not turn the mixing attachment while lifting it.
Speed positions
You control the speed of the engine with the speed control switch (8) by choosing the position 1,2 or Pulse (Ice-Crush function). The switch does not lock in the Pulse position. In order to work in the Pulse function, hold the switch in the Pulse position or turn it into Pulse position repeatedly.
Crushing ice cubes
Add the ice cubes to the jug (not more than 8) and close the glass jug (3) with both lids (1 and 2). Hold the speed control switch (8) in Pulse position for a few seconds, then turn it back to 0-position. When the ice cubes lie back at the bottom of the mixing jug, you can turn the speed control switch back in the Pulse position. Continue this process until the ice cubes have been crushed to preference.

Suggestion: Only fill ice cubes in the mixing jug when the engine is switched off.
Use of speed positions
(1) – Low – for easy use with fluids (e.g. drinks, cocktails, milkshakes, etc.)
(2) – High – for more solid ingredients – mixing/pureeing of fluids and foods
(Pulse) – use only for a few seconds – for crushing ice cubes or for mixing foods
(Turbo) - additional Pulse function with higher speed in position (1)

Caution: Never operate the blender longer than one minute without a break.
The blender needs to cool off for 3 minutes before it can be used again. This process may be repeated 3 times. Afterwards, the blender has to cool down for 15 minutes, otherwise it may cause damage to the appliance.
