Assembling the racetrack (Fig. B)

  1. Place one end of a connector (4) under the end of a track until the pin (4a) of the connector audibly locks into place in the opening (3a) on the track (3).
  2. Place the end of a new track onto the free end of the connector until the connector pin audibly locks into place.
  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2. The first racetrack with three tracks is complete.
  4. Repeat steps 1 and 3 to assemble the second racetrack.
  5. Place both racetracks next to each other.
  6. Place one end of a track at the starting line (1) until the pin (1a) of the starting line audibly locks into place in the opening on the track.
  7. Place the other end of the course at the finish line (2) until the pin (2a) of the finish line audibly locks into place in the opening of the track.
  8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 for the second racetrack.

Note: make sure that you put the racetracks parallel to each other.

The racetracks for two race cars (5) are now assembled and usable.

Disassembling the racetrack

Proceed as follows to separate the tracks (3) from each other:

  1. Disconnect the starting line (1) and finish line (2) from the racetracks.

  2. Press the pin (4a) of the end of the connector while pulling the connected tracks apart (Fig. B).

Game (Fig. C)

The objective of the game is to be the first to drive your racing car (5) through the finish line (2). Once the first player's racing car passes the finish line, the other racing car is automatically halted at the finish line by a stop sign (2d).

Setting up the race

  1. Turn the finish line flags (2b) back until the tab (2c) on the finish line flag is perpendicular to the finish line.
  2. Pull the sliders (1b) back until they lock into place.
  3. Place one racing car (5) in front of each slider.

Starting the race

  1. Slide the countdown lever (1c) on the traffic light (1d) upwards to red.
  2. The countdown lever slowly descends from red to green.

Note: there is a stopper (1e) positioned in front of each racing car until the countdown lever has reached green. The stopper prevents the cars from starting early, as the release (1f) is still blocked at this time.

  1. The stoppers lower once the countdown lever on the traffic light has reached green.

  2. Press the releases to launch the racing cars from the starting line (1).

Note: there are two rubber bands on the underside of the starting line (1). If these break, replace them with two new, commercially available rubber bands. Otherwise the racing car cannot be launched.

  1. The racing cars speed off.

Finish line

  1. The fastest racing car passes the finish line (2), and while doing so touches the tab (2c) of the finish line flag (2b).
  2. The finish line flag raises up and the stop sign (2d) descends vertically to block the second racing car.
  3. The second racing car is halted by the stop sign and can no longer pass the finish line.
