How do I install the DY DCF77?

Remove the cover by leveraging the teeth on the sides. Pass cables through the bottom cable entry, connect power and bus wires per the diagram, tighten the cable gland, and replace the cover. Mount on wall or pole using the included adapter.

What do the LED indicators mean?

The green LED flashes to indicate status: searching for signal (500 ms on/off, continuous), exact time acquired less than 30 minutes (100 ms on/off, 6 flashes every 5 seconds), exact time acquired less than 48 hours (100 ms on/off, 3 flashes every 5 seconds). The red LED flashes for 3 seconds (100 ms on/off) during data transmission to the I/O port. At power-on, the red LED emits two 1-second flashes.

How can I force the device to send data?

Press the key located under the cover (see Figure 2 in the manual) to force an immediate data transmission to the I/O extension port.

What power supply is required?

The DY DCF77 requires a 12V DC power supply with a tolerance of -20% to +20%. It consumes 4 mA.

DY DCF77 is a module that allows you to capture the information of data and time. This information may be shared with ABB devices designed to interface with DY DCF77, so as to ensure a synchronization always perfect.

INSTALLATION

• Installation can be wall or pole (by using the adapter in the package)
- Remove the cover by leveraging the teeth on the sides of the product
- Pass the cables through the cable entry on the bottom side and connect the power and bus cables respecting the wiring diagram
- Tighten the cable gland and replace the cover.
