How do I assemble the Fakir Prestige TVL 30 fan?

Unpack the fan and place the base foot on a soft surface. Fully unwind the power cord and guide it through the central hole of the base foot. Align the round opening with the positioning pin on the fan housing and secure with the provided 4 screws. Then guide the cord into the groove of the base foot. Finally, turn the fan upright and adjust height by turning the knurled screw anti-clockwise to release, set desired height, and tighten clockwise.

How do I insert batteries in the remote control?

Push the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the remote control outward and remove. Insert two AAA batteries (1.5 V) according to the polarity markings. Close the compartment until it clicks. To replace, repeat the steps. Remove batteries if the device is not used for a long time to prevent leakage.

How does the oscillation function work?

Press the OSC button on the remote or device to cycle through oscillation angles: OFF → 90° → 180° → 360° (revolving) → OFF. The selected angle is shown on the display. The fan will oscillate automatically within the chosen range.

How do I set the timer on this fan?

Press the TIMER button repeatedly to set the desired shutdown time from 1 to 12 hours. Each press increases the time by one hour. The display shows the selected hours. After the set time, the fan will automatically switch off. Press again to turn off the timer (OFF).

What is the ionizer and how do I use it?

The ionizer releases negative ions that help remove fine dust, bacteria, and viruses from the air, making it feel fresher. Press the ION button on the remote or device to activate; the ionizer symbol appears on the display. Press again to deactivate.

Assembly

WARNING!

Never use a defective appliance.

WARNING!

Prior to assembly, make sure that the mains plug is unplugged. If the mains plug is plugged in, the appliance could accidentally be switched on, resulting in injuries.

Put together base foot (two-part nozzle plate) precisely.

Put the inverted (i.e. with the operating unit facing downwards) pedestal cooling fan onto a soft surface and hold firmly.

Fully unwind the power cord and guide through the central hole in the base foot.

Place the round opening of the base foot exactly onto the positioning pin in the housing base of the fan.

The power cord must not be pinched in the process.

Insert the enclosed 4 screws and screw on securely.

Insert the power cord into the guide groove of the base foot.

Turn the pedestal cooling fan back over and place on its base foot.

Height adjustment:

Turn knurled screw to the left (anti-clockwise), pull fan out to the desired height or push down and secure again by turning the knurled screw to the right (clockwise)

Remote control batteries: Inserting / replacing

Prior to initial operation

1. Push the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the remote control outwards and remove.
2. Insert both batteries into the battery compartment in accordance with the marking.
3. Close the battery compartment until you can hear it click back into place.

Battery change

1. Push the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the remote control outwards and remove.
2. Insert batteries (AAA) into the battery compartment in accordance with the marking.
3. Close the battery compartment until you can hear it click back into place.

NOTICE!

If the device is not required for an extended period of time, the batteries should be removed to prevent damage through leakage.

ATTENTION!

Unserviceable batteries contain hazardous substances, which were previously necessary for the proper functioning and safety of the appliances. Do not dispose of these with your household waste under any circumstances. Dispose of batteries separately!

A pocket under the operating panel flap which opens automatically through slight pressure on the finger recess is for the secure storage of the remote control. Push the operating panel flap back down until it clicks into place.

ATTENTION!

Switch on

- Push the ON/OFF button [g], a double beep confirms the entry.

Fan revolutions

- Select the desired fan speed, which can be set to 8 levels, by repeatedly pressing the +button [c] or the -button [a].

The bars in the display light up in accordance with the speed selected: 1 bar = minimum speed 8 bars = maximum speed

Power off

- Push the ON/OFF button [g], a beep confirms the entry.

Display lighting and readouts go out.

Oscillation

The cooling fan is equipped with an automatic swivel device = oscillation.

- Select the desired swivel range, which can be set to three levels and is shown on the display by pressing the OSC button [f] several times:

Timer

This operating mode allows the fan to be switched off automatically.

- Select the desired fan speed by repeatedly pressing the TIMER button [d]. The time is increased by one hour upon every press.

Ionizator

Negative ions are released in this operating mode. Negative ions remove very fine dust particles, bacteria floating on positive ions in the air, floating viruses and fungal spores from the air. This makes the air “fresher”.

- Select this function by pressing the ION button [b], the corresponding symbol is shown on the display.

Pressing again switches the function back off.

Wind mode

The speed is altered in time intervals of approximately 6 seconds in both wind modes. The number of high speed cycles is also reduced in 30-minute intervals in sleep mode.

- Select the desired wind mode, which is shown on the display, by pressing the MODE button [e] several times:

Cleaning / care

WARNING!

Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning. This will prevent the appliance from accidentally being switched on.

ATTENTION!

Do not use cleaning solutions, abrasive cleaners or alcohol. This would damage the housing.

Dust accumulations inside the appliance can be removed with a vacuum cleaner or by blowing with compressed air.

Clean the appliance only with a dry or moist cloth. The appliance requires no special maintenance and care. Wind the power supply cord. Protect from dust during storage.

Appliances that have not been in use for an extended period of time must be checked by a trained technician before being put back in operation. The same applies if the appliance shows dirt on the inside.

We offer a warranty under the following conditions for this appliance:

1. Your reseller's residential address / company address shall be located in the EU or the appliance shall be purchased from an authorized reseller in Germany.

2. We guarantee to ensure that you may send the appliance to us free of charge and to repair the faults which have been reported within 24 months due to material or assembly errors that occur within 24 months (12 months for industrial and professional uses).

Proper use of the appliance is a pre-requisite for fulfilling the warranty obligation. The warranty period begins with the date of sale.

1. Parts included in natural wear parts (drive belt, batteries, brushes, filters) are not covered under warranty.

2. Warranty claims shall be void in case of intervention or repair by persons who are not authorized us. In addition, aftermarket spare parts or accessories shall not be installed.

3. Warranty service consists of repair or replacement of defective parts. On-site repairs may only be requested for fixed large appliances. In order to document warranty claims, it is necessary to present the invoice or voucher with the date of purchase, stemp and signature from the dealer.

4. If the repair operation fails and the fault or defect can not be remedied after service, the appliance shall be replaced with an equivalent appliance. If a repair or replacement is not possible, you are entitled the right to return the appliance and to demand a refund of the sales value of the appliance. A fee may be requested for the period of use in case of a request for an exchange or refund of the sales value.

5. Warranty services do not cause an extension of the warranty period or start of a new warranty period. The warranty period for the parts installed inside the appliance ends with the end of the total warranty period of the appliance.

6. Contractual or statutory clauses for repair of faults remain in effect regardless of warranty terms.
