How do I pair the Gembird OWS-01 earphones with my smartphone?

Take the earphones out of the case; they automatically enter pairing mode. Enable Bluetooth on your phone and select 'Gembird OWS-01' from the list of available devices.

What should I do if only one earbud works?

Make sure both earphones are charged and placed back in the case. Close the case for 10 seconds and try again. If the problem persists, reset the earphones by pressing and holding the touch areas.

How do I reset the OWS-01 earphones?

Place the earphones in the case, press and hold both earphones (via the touch area) for about 10 seconds until the LEDs flash red and white. Release, then close the case.

What is the actual battery life of the earphones?

The advertised battery life is 4 to 6 hours depending on volume. With the charging case, you can get up to 20-30 additional hours.

Can I use the earphones in the rain or during sports?

The Gembird OWS-01 earphones are not waterproof certified. Avoid any exposure to water or excessive sweating to maintain functionality.

How do I change the ear tips?

Gently pull the silicone tip to remove it. Align the new tip with the nozzle and push firmly until it is securely in place.

Do the earphones support AAC or aptX codecs?

This model supports SBC and AAC codecs. The aptX codec is not supported.

How do I control the volume with the earphones?

On the right earbud, touch once to increase volume, twice to decrease. Refer to the manual for precise gestures.

What if the earphones do not connect automatically?

Ensure Bluetooth on your device is on and the earphones are out of the case. If necessary, forget the device in Bluetooth settings and re-pair.

Are the earphones compatible with voice assistants?

Yes, you can activate Siri or Google Assistant by triple-tapping the left earbud (depending on default configuration).
