What is the load capacity of the XY-8 model?

On what types of floor can I use this dolly?

Use only on flat and hard floors (tile, smooth concrete). Avoid uneven floors, furniture, slopes, or stairs.

Can I use a single dolly to move a heavy piece of furniture?

No, for heavy furniture, use 3 or 4 dollies together. A single dolly is reserved for light loads and only on flat floors.

How to install the dollies under the furniture?

Use the crowbar to lift the furniture, place the crowbar under the base, lower the handle to lift, then slide a dolly under each corner. Remove the crowbar.

How to turn with the dollies?

Turn slowly. If steering is difficult, slightly lift the load with a crowbar to facilitate the turn. The swivel wheels turn better than directional wheels.

Are there precautions for furniture with legs?

Yes, make sure the furniture legs are centered on the dolly to avoid tipping. See figures 1 and 2 in the manual.

How to maintain the dolly after use?

Clean the wheels to remove sharp objects (metal filings, sand). Store in a dry place. Inspect wheels regularly and replace if damaged.

Can I use it on a slope?

No, use on a slope is prohibited as it may cause serious accidents.

What to do if a wheel is damaged?

GENERAL SAFETY RULES

1. It is recommended to use this product on flat, hard ground.
2. It is strictly prohibited to use this product on uneven or soft ground, which is liable to cause property damage and personal injury.
3. This product is not suitable for use on sloping ground, otherwise accidents will occur easily.
4. Do not exceed the product's load capacity.
5. Because the ground is not smooth, the wheels of each mover may not all be involved in the work; it is recommended to use under the normal load.
6. When using this product, it should be moved slowly at a low speed. Excessive speed can easily cause the mover to slide out, and accidents can happen easily.
7. When the load is lighter, the steering performance of the mover is good; conversely, the steering performance is not good. Do not swerve when the operator is struggling to turn. It is recommended to use a crowbar to lift and assist the mover in steering.
8. In the use of this product, avoid collision, otherwise the product can be damaged and become unusable.
9. It is not recommended to use a single or two movers together for large furniture, as such use is not safe. For heavy furniture, three or four movers are usually used together.
10. For high and narrow furniture, due to the high center of gravity, take measures to prevent possible overturning.
11. When multiple movers are used together, non-slip mats are added

to ensure consistency in height. When handling, control the direction of each mover to be consistent, otherwise it is difficult or impossible to move. When turning, it is suggested to lift the weight slightly with a crowbar or other tools to facilitate the mover turning.

Step 1: Insert the crowbar under the bottom of the furniture, hold the handle, and press down.

NOTE: The crowbar is equipped with height-adjusting pads to accommodate furniture of different heights.

Step 2: Slide the furniture movers under the bottom of the furniture, then remove the crowbar.

Step 3: Position the 4 furniture movers under the four corners of the furniture.

Ensure that the installation is secure and that you can move the furniture.

NOTE:

1) This product is intended for moving furniture indoors on flat floors. It cannot be used on uneven or soft surfaces such as cement, similar materials, or carpets. 2) This product is not suitable for sloping ground or surfaces with steps. 3) For furniture with legs, make sure the legs are centered on the mover. The correct usage is shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2.

4) For furniture with a flat bottom, ensure that the top surface of the mover is fully in contact with the bottom of the furniture, as shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4.

5) When using this product, move it slowly at a low speed; excessive speed can easily cause the mover to slide out. 6) A mover equipped with swivel casters offers good steering performance and requires slow rotation when turning. 7) A mover (JYD-114) equipped with fixed wheels requires manual assistance when turning. 8) A mover equipped with brakes can be used when needed to prevent the mover from moving.

MAINTENANCE

1. After using the mover, clean it first and store it in a dry environment.
2. Inspect the mover regularly. Replace the wheel or the mover if the wheel is damaged.
3. After use, clean the mover with PP wheels promptly, as the wheels can be easily damaged by sharp objects such as iron filings, sand, etc.
