How to turn the Vevor SF-808 scale on and off?

Press the ON/OFF button to turn the scale on. To turn it off, press the same button again. The display shows “0.0” when ready.

How to use the tare function?

Place an empty container on the platform, then press the TARE button to reset the weight to zero. You can then add ingredients without counting the container's weight.

How to change the weighing unit?

Press the UNIT (or MODE) button to toggle between available units: kg, lb:oz, and lb. The selected unit is displayed on the screen.

How to calibrate the scale?

Place the scale on a flat surface. Turn it on, then press and hold the UNIT button for 6 seconds until the capacity appears. Use TARE to select a calibration weight (20-50 kg) and UNIT to confirm. Place the corresponding weight on the platform. The display shows “PASS” on success, or “Err” on failure.

What to do if the screen shows “LO”?

This means the batteries are low. Replace the 4 AAA batteries (1.5 V) with new ones. You can also use the optional power adapter (5 V DC).

What to do in case of overload?

Never exceed the maximum capacity of 200 kg. If overloaded, the screen shows an error indication (“Vieux” or other). Immediately remove the excess weight to avoid damaging the scale.

How to maintain the scale?

Clean the platform and housing with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use chemicals. Avoid moisture and do not immerse the scale in water. Store it in a dry place.

What type of batteries to use?

Use 4 AAA batteries of 1.5 V. For extended use, you can also plug in a power adapter (110-240 V AC to 5 V DC) sold separately.

Can the scale weigh very heavy objects?

Yes, the Vevor SF-808 scale can weigh up to 200 kg (440 lb) with a precision of 50 g. Do not exceed this limit to avoid damage.

Button Functions

1. ON/OFF Button: Pressing this button will turn the scale on and off. 2. TARE Button: Pressing this button will tare the weight of the load. The tare function will eliminate the weight put on the scale, such as a car or vessel. This will give the weight only of the items added to the scale. 3. UNIT Button: Pressing this button changes the unit of measure for the scale.

OPERATION

1. Open the back cover and take out the indicator.

Take out this indicator at the back of the scale.

1. Press the ON/OFF button to switch the product on. The display shows "0.0".
2. Place an item on the weighing plate. Wait for the readout on the display to stabilize.
3. After use, press the ON/OFF button to switch the product off.

CALIBRATION

1. Put the scale on a flat platform.
2. Switch on the scale, press the "UNIT" for six seconds until LCD shows capacity and calibration weight.
3. Press TAER button to select calibration weight between 20kg 50kg.
4. Press UNIT button to choose calibration weight.
5. Place the standard weight on the pan according to the value show the LCD display.
6. After 2 to 3 seconds, the LCD display will show PASS indicating scale has been calibrated successfully.
7. If you fail in calibration, the scale will show "Err". You can press ON/OFF to stop calibration and try again.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Don't put the scale on an uneven surface

Don't expose scale to moisture

Don't drop or mistreat the scale

Don't overload the scale. This will permanently damage it!

Don't leave weight on the scale when not in use.

Replace battery when the scale shows "LO" on the display.
