COMPONENTES PRINCIPALES

• Carefully read these instructions before using your appliance for the first time and keep it for future enquires.
• This appliance must not be used by children under the age of 8. It can be used by children at the age of 8 or more if they are continuously supervised and by people with physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if are supervised or they have received instruction concerning to the correct use of the appliances and understand the dangers involved.
• Keep all plastic bags and packaging components out of the reach of children. They are potentially dangerous.
• Do not connect to the mains without checking that the voltage on the rating plate and that of your household are the same.
• Manipulation or replacement of any component must be performed by an authorized service centre.
• Make sure the plug has an adequate earth base.
• Do not leave unattended while in use.

• ATTENTION: Hot surface.

• Take care the cable does not touch any hot parts.
- The cooking devices must be placed in a stable position to avoid spill of liquids and with the handles (if any) placed.
- Don't allow children play with the appliance. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
- Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.
• Always place on a heat resistance surface.

• Keep out of curtains or other flammable materials.
• The temperature of the metallic surfaces could be high when the appliance is working.
  • Always use the handles if you need to move the appliance.
• This appliance is intended for use as a domestic and similar appliance such as small kitchen areas in shops, offices and other work environments; country houses; by customers in hotels, motels, and other residential-type settings; hostel-type environments.
• Always use with the connector provided. Do not use any other type of connector.
• Only plug the connector in if it is connected to the appliance.
• VERY IMPORTANT: Do not immerse the appliance or the connector with the cable in water or any other liquid.
• This appliance is not intended for using with an external timer or a separate system of remote control.
• To unplug, pull from the plug, never from the cable.
• It must not be used outdoors.
• The cleaning and maintenance done by users, can not be done by children.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by its after-sales service or similar qualified personnel in order to avoid a danger.

INSTRUCTIONS OF USE

• To assembling the handle introduce the screw with the silicone joint from the lower part of the central hole of the lid. Next place the metallic ring on the upper side of the lid and screw the handle. Don't over tight the screw to avoid any possible broken glass.
• Before using for the first time, clean it with a damp cloth. Next, dry carefully and spread a little oil with a cloth or kitchen roll.
• Before each use pour some oil on the surface.
• Place the appliance on a flat and heat resistance surface.
• Insert the connector (1) into the base (4), bearing in mind that the temperature selector (2) is in the top position.
• Turn the temperature selector (2) to the desired position, according to the type of food you are going to prepare using as a reference the selected temperature of the pilot light position (3). After that you can, if you consider it convenient, change the selector position moving it up or down.
• Plug into the mains. The pilot light (3) will light on. When the pilot light goes off the appliance will have reached the selected temperature.
• You can use the lid depending on the food you are cooking.
  • Always use wooden utensils to move or turn the food over. The use of forks or other metal utensils may scratch the surface.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• Before you proceed to cleaning, unplug the appliance from the mains and remove the connector from its base.
• Do not wait for the appliance to cool completely. The cleaning of the surface will be easier if it is still warm. It is enough to use a slightly dampened cloth and if there were some difficult residues they may be cleaned with a cloth dampened in a little oil.
• It may be cleaned with soap and water, taking care to rinse carefully afterwards.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical products, metallic scourers, and such may deteriorate the protection.
• The connector must always be cleaned with a dry cloth and must never be immersed in water.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

• Dispose the appliance according to the local garbage regulations.
• Never throw it away to the rubbish. So you will help to the improvement of the environment.
