How do I connect the Scape headset to my PC?

You have two options: use the 3.5mm audio cable for a wired connection, or insert the wireless USB dongle into a USB port on your PC for a wireless connection. The headset automatically switches to wireless mode when the dongle is detected.

How do I charge the Scape headset?

Use the included USB cable to connect the headset to a standard USB charger (5V/1A) or a computer USB port. The LED indicator shows charging status: red while charging, green when fully charged. Allow approximately 2 hours for a full charge.

The microphone is not working, what should I do?

Check that the detachable microphone is properly inserted into the dedicated jack on the headset. Make sure the audio/mic cable is securely connected to your device. On PC, check sound settings and select the headset as the default input device. If the problem persists, try another device.

What is the wireless range of the headset?

The maximum range is about 10 meters in direct line of sight. Walls and other obstacles may reduce range. For optimal performance, keep the dongle nearby and unobstructed.

Can I use the Scape headset with a PlayStation console?

Yes, the headset is compatible with PlayStation 4 and 5. For wireless connection, plug the USB dongle into the console. You can also use the 3.5mm audio cable on the controller. Microphone and audio will work properly.

Is the headset compatible with Xbox?

Yes, the Scape headset works with Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox 360 via the 3.5mm audio cable connected to the controller. Note that the wireless USB dongle is not compatible with Xbox consoles due to system limitations.

How do I clean the ear cushions?

The ear cushions are removable. Gently remove them and wash with warm water and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and air dry before replacing. Avoid using solvents or putting them in a dryer.

What should I do if the headset does not turn on?

Make sure the battery is charged. Plug the headset into the charger for at least 15 minutes, then try turning it on. If the LED does not light up, try a different USB cable or power source. If the problem persists, contact Fractal Design support.

How do I reset the Scape headset?

To reset the headset, press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds until the LEDs flash or the headset turns off. Release and turn on normally. This procedure can resolve minor connection or sync issues.

Does the warranty cover accidental damage?

Limited Warranty and Limitations of Liability

This product is guaranteed for twenty-four (24) months from the date of delivery to end-user, against defects in materials and/or workmanship. Within this limited warranty period, the product will either be repaired or replaced at Fractal Design's discretion. Warranty claims must be returned to the agent who sold the product, shipping prepaid.

The warranty does not cover:

• Products which have been used for rental purposes, misused, handled carelessly or applied in such a way that is not in accordance with its stated intended use.
• Products damaged from an Act of Nature including, but not limited to, lightning, fire, flood and earthquake.
• Products whose serial number have been tampered with or removed.
• Damage caused by external electrical fault or use of third party accessories, parts or components.
• Damage caused by unauthorized repair.
• Failure resulting from normal wear and tear, including reduction in battery capacity over time.
• Discoloration of textiles and surface materials due to soiling or stains
• Any data or information stored on the device.

Fractal Design's maximum liability is limited to the current market value of the product (depreciated value, excluding shipping, handling, and other fees). Fractal Design shall not be liable for any other damage or loss, including but not limited to loss of profit, revenue, or data, or incidental or consequential damage, even if Fractal Design has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
