Product overview

  • Unpack and remove all labels from the unit except the nameplate. Please check that all parts are included and intact. If the unit is damaged or faulty, do not use it and take it to your retailer or after-sales service centre.
  • WARNING: Keep all packaging out of the reach of children. There is a risk of accidents if children play with packaging materials.

Intended use

  • This unit has been exclusively designed to squeeze citrus fruits, such as oranges, lemons, grapefruits, etc. This unit is intended for household use. It is not intended for commercial, industrial, or outdoor use. Do not use it for any other purpose.
  • Any other use may damage the unit or cause injury.

Specifications

Model: 995740

Operating voltage: 220-240 V\~, 50-60 Hz

Rated power: 160 W

Protection class: Class II

Before first use

Clean the unit before first use or after a prolonged storage ( “Cleaning and maintenance” section).

Placement

  • Place the motor unit on a level, firm and dry surface.
  • Wrap excess power cable under the base (H) and pass the cable through the notch in the edge of the base.
  • Do not place the motor unit on delicate surfaces. Some paints or synthetic coatings may react with the material of the suction feet, which can soften them and cause them to leave marks.

Assembly

  1. Place the removable rod (F) on the motor shaft.
  2. Place the transparent juice container (D) on the motor unit (G).
  3. Place the strainer (C) inside the transparent juice container (D) by aligning the two flat sides of the middle hole with the flat sides of the container's tube.

  4. To attach the cone to juicer:

- Place the small cone (B) onto the juicer by aligning it with the hexagonal sides of the removable rod (F). The small cone is suitable for juicing lemons, limes, clementines, and mandarins.

- To attach the large cone (A), first place it on top of the small cone (B), by aligning the two notches on the large cone with the tabs on the small cone and pressing them together. Then place the cone assembly onto the juicer as indicated above. The large cone is suitable for juicing grapefruits and oranges.

- To remove the large cone (A), separate it from the small one.

Use

- Wash and cut the citrus fruits in half to juice them.

  1. Make sure the unit is assembled correctly.
  2. Connect the power cable to a suitable mains socket.
  3. Place a cup under the spout (E).

  4. To use the spout (E):

- Lift the spout to close it if you want to temporarily collect the juice in the transparent container. Do not exceed the “MAX” fill line on the container.

B

Product usage

- Lower the spout to open it and allow the juice to run directly into the cup.

  1. Place the cut citrus fruit on the cone.
  2. Lower the handle (J) to press the fruit lightly. The juicer will start automatically and the juicing cone will rotate to scrape the pulp and squeeze the juice from the fruit. The strainer will separate the seeds and thick pulp from the juice.
  3. Lift the handle to stop the juicer. The juicer stops as soon as the pressure is reduced on the cone.
  4. To maximize juice extraction from the fruit, press the fruit onto the juicing cone several times.
  5. Disconnect the power cable from the mains socket after each use.

IMPORTANT:

  • When juicing, do not apply too much pressure on the juicing cone to avoid jamming the motor.
  • To avoid overheating the unit, do not operate the unit in one session for more than 3 minutes at a time. Allow the unit to cool down for at least 20 minutes between each session.
