How to use the Taco Tuesday TTMSB64LG Margarita and Slush Machine?

Fill the grinding chamber with ice up to the maximum line, add your ingredients, close the lid, plug in the appliance and set the switch to BLEND. Let it blend for 7 to 10 minutes. Place a glass under the spout and turn it clockwise to dispense.

What are the important safety precautions?

Do not touch hot surfaces, do not immerse the appliance in water, unplug before cleaning, and supervise children. Use only on a 120 V AC outlet.

How to clean the machine?

Wash the grinding chamber, lid, and drip tray with warm soapy water. Do not immerse the base in water. Wipe the exterior with a damp, non-abrasive cloth.

Can I use extension cords?

Yes, with caution. The extension cord must have a power rating at least equal to that of the appliance (200 W) and should not hang from the counter to avoid tripping hazards.

Why does the appliance not turn on?

Make sure the grinding chamber is properly locked onto the base. The appliance will not turn on if it is not securely attached. Also check that the switch is in the BLEND position.

Operating Safety Precautions

2. Keep hands and utensils out of container while unit is in operation to reduce the risk of severe personal injury or damage to the appliance.
3. DO NOT remove lid while in use. Always operate appliance with lid in place.
4. DO NOT add anything to the container while the appliance is operating.
5. This unit must be on a level surface to operate properly.

7. Check inside of the Blending Chamber for foreign objects prior to use.

Instructions for the Electrical Cord and Plug

1. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
2. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled or tripping over a long cord.

Designed for kitchen or home bar use, it can also be used in family rooms, dorm rooms, offices or club houses. Perfect for treating a small group of friends to a delicious frozen beverage!

After Taking the Unit Out of the Box:

1. Wipe down the MARGARITA & SLUSH MAKER exterior with a clean, non-abrasive cloth or sponge. Thoroughly wash Blending Chamber, Lid and Drip Tray in warm, sudsy water and thoroughly dry. DO NOT put the Base in water.
2. After drying, firmly attach Blending Chamber to Base by placing the Blending Chamber on top of Base and twisting Blending Chamber counterclockwise so that it locks into place.
3. If Blending Chamber is attached properly, it will be aligned with Base so that the Spout is over the Drip Tray.

Insert the three prongs of the Drip Tray into the three holes on the Base of the unit. Make sure Drip Tray locks firmly in place.

Drip Tray should be level to ensure that cup does not sit at an angle.

Now you are ready to enjoy cold, refreshing margaritas and drinks from your MARGARITA & SLUSH MAKER!

HOW TO OPERATE

1. First, find a stable surface near an electrical outlet before starting. Make sure the cord is away from any water source. It is acceptable to use an extension cord if needed.
2. DO NOT place the MARGARITA & SLUSH MAKER near the edge of a table or countertop.
3. Fill the Blending Chamber with ice up to the max fill line. DO NOT exceed the max fill line.
4. Add your favorite liquor, drink mix or fruit. You may choose to follow one of the recipes included in this Instruction Manual.
5. After adding ingredients, attach Lid firmly to the Blending Chamber.
6. Plug in unit and turn ON by turning the side knob to the BLEND position.
7. Blend for approximately 7-10 minutes or until mixture has reached the desired consistency.
8. While the unit is still on, place a glass or a cup on the Drip Tray under the Spout and dispense the drink by turning the Spout clockwise. Turn Spout counterclockwise to stop dispensing beverage.
9. NOTE: Always dispense beverage while unit is running.
10. When you have finished, turn side knob to OFF position and unplug unit.

HELPFUL TIPS

• If Spout is stiff during first use, use as much force as necessary to turn the knob.
• Add more liquid to Blending Chamber if vacuum occurs around shaving cage during use.
• Blending Chamber must be firmly attached to Base or unit will not turn on.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

1. After using your MARGARITA & SLUSH MAKER, disconnect from electrical outlet. Remove plug by gripping the plug body and pulling out of the outlet. Never yank or twist cord to unplug the unit.
2. Thoroughly wash the Blending Chamber, Lid and Drip Tray in warm, sudsy water and thoroughly dry. DO NOT put the Base in water. When needed, use a damp, non-abrasive cloth to wipe exterior.
3. Once washing and drying is complete, reassemble your MARGARITA & SLUSH MAKER. Wind the cord and return to the convenient storage location in the bottom of the Base. Now your MARGARITA & SLUSH MAKER is ready to use again.

RECIPES

Use your imagination to create many different drinks with your MARGARITA & SLUSH MAKER. Here, you will find several recipes. You can adjust the ingredients to your particular taste, or create your own – so have fun! If you have a recipe for a drink made for one, your MARGARITA & SLUSH MAKER has the capacity for 8 – 8 oz. drinks – so remember to adjust your recipes accordingly.

For each recipe below, fill the Blending Chamber with ice up to the max fill line. DO NOT exceed the max fill line.

1 SHOT = 1½ ounces (45 ml)

1 CUP = 5.33 Shots (239.85 ml)

BASIC MARGARITA

• 2 Shots of Tequila Serves one
• 1 Shot of Triple Sec
• 1½ Cups of Margarita Mix
• 1 Shot of Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
• Salt & Lime Wedge, for garnishing

STRAWBERRY MANGO MARGARITA

• 1 Shot of Tequila Serves one
• 8-oz. Mango Juice
• 3 (16-oz.) Fresh Strawberries, cut in quarters
• Salt for Rimming Glass (optional)

ORANGE JULIUS SLUSH

• 2½-oz. Rum Serves two
• 12-oz. Orange Juice
• 2 ^1/4 -oz. Vodka

• 1 (12-oz.) Package of Frozen, Unsweetened Strawberries

Serves four

• 1 ^1/3 Cup Light Corn Syrup
• ^2/3 Cup White Rum
• 3 Tbsp. Fresh Lime Juice
- 12 Fresh Honeydew Melon, seeded and cut into 12 inch cubes
• Lime Slices, for garnishing

APRICOT SMOOTHIE

• 2-oz. White Rum
  Serves two
• 1-oz. Triple Sec
  • 26-oz. Apricot Juice
• 12 -oz. Cream

KAHLUA COLADA

• 1½-oz. Kahlua
  Serves one
• 1/2 -oz. Rum
• 2¼-oz. Coconut Cream
• 2 ^1/4 -oz. Pineapple Juice
• 12 -oz. Cream

GINGER FRUIT SLUSH

• 6-oz. Ginger Ale Serves four
- 6-oz. Orange Juice
- 2 Bananas, sliced
• 1 (12-oz.) Can of Crushed Pineapple in its Juice

BERRY SLUSH

• 5 Strawberries Serves four
- 3 / 4 Cup Blueberries
- 1 / 2 Cup Peach, sliced
- 6-oz. Orange Juice
- 14 Cup Sugar
• 2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER PROTEIN SHAKE

• 1 Tbsp. Smooth Serves one Peanut Butter
  • 2 Scoops Chocolate Protein Powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Low-fat Milk

As the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty, the Company will at its discretion either repair or replace the product found to be defective, or issue a refund on the product during the warranty period.
