IMPORTANT: Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding, as there may be accessory parts inside the packaging material.
NOTE: Before first use, clean all surfaces with a damp cloth and then dry.
Using Your Citrus Juicer:
Attention: First use may cause a slight odor or small smoking upon heating, it is normal. This is a result of the heating element chemical reaction. It quickly goes away.
- Ensure that the power cord is fully extended and free of tangles to prevent any accidents.
- Plug the citrus juicer into a power outlet to provide it with electricity.
- Prepare the citrus fruits (such as oranges, lemons, or limes) by cutting them in half, making it easier to extract the juice.
- Position a glass or container beneath the anti-drip valve of the juicer to catch the freshly squeezed juice and prevent any spills.
- Once a halved citrus fruit is securely placed on the juicing cone, activate the juicer by pressing down on the handle. This action applies pressure to the fruit, extracting its juice.
NOTE: The adjustable spout adds convenience and reduces mess, allowing you to pour your juice with precision and ease. Lift it to close the spout, preventing any juice from escaping until you're ready to pour.
- When you've finished extracting juice from the fruit, release pressure on the handle to stop the juicing process. This ensures that the appliance stops functioning and allows for safe removal of the fruit.
In addition to the previous steps, here are some more details for efficient and safe operation of the citrus juicer:
- Different Cones for Different Fruits: Use the appropriate cone size for the fruit you are juicing. The larger cone is suitable for bigger fruits like oranges, and you can press down using the lever provided. The smaller cone is for smaller fruits like lemons, and you need to press down with your hand.
- Correct Operation Timing Control: Follow a specific timing pattern for operating the appliance. Turn on the appliance for 15 seconds, then turn it off for 15 seconds to complete one working cycle. After operating the appliance for 10 cycles, it's important to stop operation and turn off the appliance for 30 minutes to allow it to rest and prevent overheating.
- Periodic Cleaning: If you're processing a large quantity of fruits, it's essential to periodically clean the filter and juice tray to remove any pulp or residue. This helps maintain the efficiency of the juicer and ensures that the juice remains free from any contaminants.
After you have finished using the appliance, follow these steps for proper maintenance:
- Always disconnect the appliance from the power source by unplugging it from the electrical outlet. This prevents any accidental activation of the appliance and ensures safety during cleaning.
- Proper cleaning of the appliance is essential to maintain its performance and hygiene. You may need to disassemble certain parts of the juicer for thorough cleaning. Use mild detergent and warm water to clean all removable parts, such as the cones, filter, and juice container. Pay special attention to any areas where pulp or juice may have accumulated. Rinse the parts thoroughly with clean water and allow them to dry completely before reassembling the appliance.
NOTE:
Only the removable parts (protective cover, larger cone, smaller cone, filter, and juice tray) may be cleaned with detergent and warm water or top rack dishwasher. The body should be wiped with a damp cloth if it becomes dirty.
