Thank you for choosing an Arendo product. Please read the following user manual carefully so that you can enjoy the purchased product for a long time.

CAUTION!

4. Important usage instructions for this appliance

• Use only tap water.
• Fill the tank with water before adding the essential oils. Never use pure essential oils without water. This could damage the device.
- The device is not designed for long-duration continuous operation (max. 8 hours). Using the diffuser continuously can damage the product and significantly shorten its service life. Make sure that the device is switched off for at least 1 hour before reusing it.
- Disconnect the power supply of the diffuser when cleaning the appliance or filling the tank. Make sure that the tank is empty if the appliance is not being used.
• Never open the lid when the appliance is being used.
• Never cover the diffuser with any objects.
• Always fill the tank with fresh water to prevent dirt from damaging the appliance.
- Clean the tank once a week with vinegar. Do not use chemical products such as aggressive household cleaners.
• Make sure that water does not get into the internal electronics! If this happens, switch off the device immediately.

• Do not open the electronics of the device and do not carry out any maintenance work by yourself!
• Keep the device away from children and pets.
  • Do not touch the device if your hands are wet.
  • Always keep the device on a flat and level surface.
  • Refill water using only the measuring cup. Never put the device under running water (e.g., tap).

5. Initial use

1. Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Connect the DC-coaxial power adapter to the DC coaxial port of the diffuser.
2. Then remove the lid of the diffuser.

1. Fill the tank with tap water. Use the measuring cup supplied. Make sure that you do not fill more than 100ml of water. Then add 1-2 drops of any essential oil or aroma. Make sure that water is present in the diffuser.

1. Place the lid of the diffuser on the device and make sure that it has been fitted properly.

2. Connect the DC coaxial adapter to the diffuser and then insert it into a properly installed power socket. The diffuser is ready for use. To switch on the diffuser, press and hold the "Mist On/Off" button briefly. The diffuser now starts operating. Press the button briefly a second time to set the timer to 180 minutes. Pressing the button a third time sets the diffuser to 120 minutes. Press the button a fourth time to set the timer to 60 minutes. Pressing it a fifth time switches the device off.

6. "LED On/Off" button

With the "LED On/Off" button, it is possible to adjust the light of the diffuser. Pressing the button for the first time switches on the colour-changing function. Pressing the button repeatedly changes between the individual colours in two different brightness levels.

7. Cleaning and Care

Make sure that the device is switched off and disconnected from the power supply if you want to clean it. If there is still some water in the tank, make sure that you do not tilt the device in the direction of the air inlet. Water may accumulate in the device.

Clean the ultrasonic plate once a week with water and distilled vinegar using a soft cloth.

Never clean the diffuser using petrol or household cleaners. Do not use chemical or aggressive cleaning agents for cleaning.

If the diffuser is not being used, it is advisable to drain the water tank. Never immerse the device in water.

Never pour water on the air outlet or into any other opening.

8. Safety instructions and disclaimer

Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. Route the connecting cable safely so that it is not damaged. Use only cables that are approved for outdoor use. Secure the connection from moisture.

Do not expose the device to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the device for any damage before using it. The device should not be used if it was subject to impact or has been damaged in some other manner. Please comply with the local regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the user manual. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons.

Any repair or modifications to the device, which are not carried out by the original supplier, will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The device should be used only by persons who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the appliance may be changed without special prior notice.

9. Disposal instructions

In line with the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic devices should not be disposed of along with domestic waste.

Their components must be sent separately for recycling or disposal, as improper disposal of toxic and dangerous components may permanently damage the environment and recyclable materials can be sent for reuse.

According to the electrical and electronic equipment act (ElektroG), you are obliged (as a consumer) to return (free of charge) all electrical and electronic devices to the manufacturer, the point of sale, or public collection points at the end of their service life. The relevant local laws regulate the details in this regard. The symbol displayed on the product, in the user manual or/and on the packaging refers to these regulations. With this manner of sorting, recycling and disposal of used devices, you make an important contribution towards protecting our environment.
