Lid Vessel Heating plate Operating lights Temperature regulator5. Usage
Heat the heating plate without the vessel for about 5 minutes at the maximum level.
Add the quantity of oil, broth, cheese or chocolate to the vessel according to the desired fondue recipe. Make sure that the capacity of the vessel is not exceeded. Only use the original vessel for fondue. Use only fats and oils that are suitable for deep frying.
Place the vessel on the heating plate and ensure that the base makes complete contact with the heating plate.
Turn the knob to the "MAX" position and the indicator lights up. The appliance starts working.
It is normal for the indicator lamp to switch on and off periodically due to the thermostatic regulator. This cycle controls the temperature of the vessel, till the food item is cooked sufficiently.
Please turn the knob to the "MIN" position after use to switch off the appliance.
Caution! Please do not use the appliance to cook with nothing, as this will reduce the service life of the product.

Clean the unit with a mild cleaning agent or a gel cleaner using a soft cloth. To protect the non-stick coating, please do not use any hard brushes, abrasive materials or alcohol, benzine or other organic cleaning agents for cleaning.
Please do not use other vessels or frying pans and use only the originally packed accessories, in order to achieve optimum cooking or frying results.
Make sure that the base of the vessel or frying pan is dry and free of foreign bodies before placing them on the heating plate.
It is not uncommon for metal parts to turn yellowish after prolonged use.
7. Additional note
Make sure that the food item used is not too moist, as this could cause the oil to froth.
You can check the temperature of fat or oil by dipping a wooden stick into it. If bubbles are formed on it, then the temperature necessary for fondue has been reached.
Cut the individual fondue ingredients into roughly equal pieces to obtain a uniform cooking result.
8. Possible recipes
Note! The following recipes are only examples.
Chocolate fondue
- 150 g Dark chocolate
- 50 g Milk chocolate
• 150 ml milk or cream - Seasonal fruits
- Marshmallows
- Lemon juice
Preparation: Cut the fruits into bite-sized pieces. Break the chocolate into small pieces and add them to the milk / cream into the vessel. Heat the mixture carefully and stir it from time to time until the chocolate melts completely and the desired consistency is reached.
Cheese fondue
• 300 g Cheese (Gruyère)
• 300 g Cheese (Emmental)
- 4 dl White wine
- 3 tsp. Cornflour
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 cl cherry brandy
- some pepper
- some nutmeg
Preparation: Cut the garlic clove into two and rub the fondue vessel with it.
Pour some wine into it and let it boil. Add the cheese with a wooden spoon, stir the ingredients regularly to prevent the formation of lumps. If the wine lacks acidity, you can add a little lemon juice so that the cheese dissolves slightly better. Add the cornstarch and cherry brandy to it and mix it.
