When using this or any other appliance, always follow basic safety precautions, especially when children are present.

WARNING-To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, please note the following:

• Use extreme care when handling the cutting blades.
• The blades are very sharp. Always keep fingers away of the blades.
  Always use food guard to prevent injury.
• Please discard or store all packing materials away from the reach of children.
• This product is not intended for use by children. Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets.
• Extra caution is necessary when using this Mandolin Slicer near children.
• Do not leave the product unattended. Keep all accessories away from the reach of children and pets when in use and not in use.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or other heated surfaces.
• Before use check that all parts are operating properly and that no accessories are damages
• Use on a flat surface.
• Do not use the Mandolin Slicer while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• Do not use if damage is found.
• The Mandolin Slicer should not move during the cutting process.
• Never push food through the cutting blades with hands.
• Do not use the Mandolin Slicer for frozen foods, meat, fish, fruit or vegetables with pits, nuts, or anything other than food stuff.
• Top rack dishwasher safe.

First Use of Mandolin Slicer:

WARNING: Extremely sharp blades! Keep fingers always clear of the blades. Improper handling of the Mandolin Slicer may result in injury.

1. Remove the packaging material and all plastic wrapping.
2. Check components and check that all accessories have been received and without damage. If any parts are broken or damaged, do not use.
3. Clean all parts of the Mandolin Slicer before first use as described in the 'Cleaning' section.
4. Before use:

a. Peel fruit or vegetable with thick skin (e.g., onion)
b. Remove stems and trim ends.

Slicer and Julienne Slicer:

Note: Always use Hand Guard (A) to prevent injury. When not in use turn Dial to the 'LOCK' position.

1. Place the Container on a flat surface.
2. Place the Mandolin Top on top of the Container.
3. Insert Julienne Slicer Blade (Parts: D/G) into Mandolin Top (B). See Fig. 1
4. Lift the Mandolin Top and turn it over to view the back of the Mandolin Top.
5. On the back side of the Mandolin Top, turn the Dial (I), to desired thickness of slices (2-4 mm). Dial options 2, 3, and 4, can only be used for the Slicer and Julienne Slicer. See Fig. 2
6. Securely place Mandolin Top (B) over bowl.
7. Secure food with hand guard (A), hold the hand guard and slide back and forth to slice food. See Fig. 3

Fine Grater and Grater:

1. Place the Container on a flat surface.
2. Place the Mandolin Top on top of the Container. See Fig 4
3. Insert Grater Blade (E/F) into Mandolin Top (B).
4. Secure food with Hand Guard (A) and slide back and forth to grate.

Removing/Replacing Blades:

WARNING: Extremely sharp blades! Keep fingers always clear of the blades. Handle with care and keep out of reach of children and pets.

1. Place the Container on a flat surface.
2. Place finger into finger slot (H) and gently lift the interchangeable blade. See Fig. 5
3. Carefully pull blade away from the Mandolin Top (B). See Fig. 6.

Cleaning your Mandolin Slicer:

WARNING: Extremely sharp blades! Keep fingers always clear of the blades when cleaning the blades.

1. Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or nylon bristles, sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as knives, hard scrapers, and the like. They could damage the surfaces.
2. Clean all used parts under running water with a mild detergent or place in the top rack of a dishwasher. Thoroughly dry all parts after washing.

Storage:

All parts must be completely dry before storing. Make sure to store it in a safe and dry location, out of reach of children and pets.

Disposal:

The packaging material is recyclable. Please dispose of in an environmentally friendly manner.
