HOW TO USE

  1. Before first use, wipe down all surfaces with a damp cloth and dry.
  2. Find a dry, suitable, level surface near an electrical outlet.
  3. Plug the cord into a power outlet. The Red Indicator Light will illuminate, signaling that the Omelet Maker is heating up.
  4. Whisk 2 eggs in a separate bowl. Or 4 egg whites or 6-8 tablespoons of an egg substitute.
  5. Once the Cooking Surface reaches the optimal cooking temperature, the Green Indicator Light will also turn on. Omelet Maker is now ready.

NOTE: To preheat items, carefully lift the cover by the handle and spray both sides of the cooking surfaces with a little cooking spray. Place any toppings you wish to precook on cooking surface and gently stir with a heat-resistant nylon or silicone cooking utensil until toppings are cooked through or warm.

  1. Next pour the eggs onto the cooking surface, mixing with the preheated items. For additional flavors, add any cheeses or assorted toppings and close the Cover.

NOTE: Toppings can also be applied once the omelet is done cooking.

Do not touch hot surfaces. Use protective oven mitts or gloves when removing the Lid. Steam may be released from appliance during cooking. For your safety, avoid contact with steam, as it is very hot and can cause burns.

  1. Check halfway through cooking (approx. 1-2 minutes after pouring in the eggs).

  2. Once food is cooked to your preference, carefully lift the Cover. Keep face and fingers away from HOT SURFACES. Remove the omelet from the Cooking Surface with a heat resistant nylon or silicone cooking utensil. Do not use metal utensils to remove or place food on the Cooking Surface as this will damage the non-stick surface. When you have finished cooking, unplug your Omelet Maker and allow to cool before moving or cleaning.

HELPFUL TIPS

NEVER leave the unit unattended while operating.

During first use, you may notice slight smoking or a slight odor; this is normal with most new appliances. The smoking and odor is caused by the residues burning off the Nonstick Cooking Surface and the Heating Element. Allow the appliance to preheat until smoke and odor no longer exists.
