Frequently Asked Questions - PowerSpeed NEU202C EUREKA

How to assemble the Eureka PowerSpeed NEU202C vacuum cleaner?
Place the main body upright. Insert the wand into the upper part and push until you hear a click. Then, route the hose under the retainer and firmly push the free end onto the hose inlet. Finally, store the accessories on the back.
How to empty the dust cup?
Press the release latch and lift the dust cup. Hold it over a trash can, press the lever to open the bottom lid and empty the debris. Close the lid until it clicks.
How often to clean the filters?
Washable filters should be cleaned every month. Lift the foam filter, shake it, rinse it and let it dry completely. Similarly, remove the filter receptacle, turn it counterclockwise, shake off dust, rinse and dry.
What to do if there is no suction?
First check that the dust cup is not full and that the filters are clean. Then inspect the hose and wand for blockages. Use a blunt rod to dislodge debris. Bend the hose to release blockages.
How to replace the belt?
Unplug the vacuum. Lower the handle and turn the unit over. Remove the six screws of the brush roll cover with a Phillips screwdriver. Lift out the brush roll, place the new belt around the motor shaft and wrap it around the brush roll axle. Reinsert the brush roll aligning the end cap.
The vacuum stops suddenly, what to do?
This is a thermal cut-off due to overheating. Turn the switch to OFF and unplug. Check that the cup is not full, the hose is not clogged and the filters are clean. Wait at least 30 minutes, then plug back in and turn on. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
How to use the accessories?
Place the vacuum in upright position. Turn the height adjustment to the highest setting. Pull the hose to release it from the inlet, push it into the top of the handle and turn clockwise. Press the release latch to remove the handle. Attach the desired accessory to the wand or directly to the hose.
How to store the power cord?
To rewind the cord, press the rewinding pedal located at the back. If the cord does not retract, pull it slightly and press again. Make sure there are no obstacles and the cord is not twisted.
What is the warranty of this vacuum?
Eureka offers a 2-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship. It is valid only for the original purchaser in normal household use. Wear parts (filters, belts, brush roll) are not covered.
Where to find the serial number?
The serial number is on the label on the center back of the vacuum. Write it down along with the model and type for any parts order or service call.
