How to use the temperature setting function?

Press button (B) until the indicator for the desired temperature (40, 70, 80 or 90°C) lights up. The kettle heats the water to that temperature and then automatically turns off. The backlight changes color according to the temperature.

How to activate keep warm?

After boiling water at 100°C, press and hold button (A) until a second beep is heard. Keep warm is activated for 2 hours: the kettle reheats the water to 100°C as soon as it drops to 85°C.

What does the colored backlight mean?

The backlight changes according to the selected temperature: green for 40°C, blue for 70°C, yellow for 80°C, purple for 90°C. During boiling at 100°C, the color may vary; refer to the manual for more details.

How to clean the filter?

The mesh filter is removable. Remove it and rinse under water, or clean with a soft brush. Regular maintenance is necessary, especially in hard water.

How to descale the kettle?

Boil 0.5 L of water, turn off and unplug. Add 0.1 L of vinegar and let it sit for several hours. Empty, rinse, then boil 1 L of water and rinse again. Do not use harsh descaling agents.

What is the maximum capacity?

The maximum capacity is 1.8 L. The minimum level is 0.5 L. Do not exceed the maximum mark to avoid overflow.

Can I use the kettle without water?

No, never operate the kettle without water. Always check that there is at least 0.5 L of water before turning it on.

What to do if the kettle does not turn on?

Make sure the kettle is properly placed on the base and that the base is plugged in. Check that the lid is closed properly. If the problem persists, contact an authorized service center.

How to clean the outside of the kettle?

Use a damp cloth with a little dish soap. Never immerse the kettle in water. Wipe carefully after cleaning.

Is the kettle suitable for professional use?

INTENDED USE

The C520 wireless kettle is intended for boiling water. It is fitted with the function of temperature control and hold (85 – 100°C). The capacity of the kettle allows to boil 0.5–1.8 l of water. The maximum and minimum level of water is marked with the indicator (5).

OPERATION

All changes of settings are confirmed with audible signal.

Place the base of the appliance (6) on flat, stable and dry surface.

Excess cord may be kept inside the base. Make sure that the cord protrudes from the base (6) through the special groove to have the appliance stable.

Boil water 2-3 times and discard before the first use of the kettle.

Fill in the appliance after opening the cover (2).

Do not fill in the kettle while on the base.

The kettle will be activated after pressing the button (A).

Operation of the appliance is signaled with illumination of the jug (7).

The kettle will be automatically turned off when the water is boiled.

The appliance may be turned off at any time with the button (A).

• TEMPERATURE CONTROL

The kettle allows to warm up water to the pre-set temperature.

To select the required temperature of water (40°C, 70°C, 80°C or 90°C), press the button (B) to cause illumination of the relevant indicator on the panel (3).

Operation of the appliance is signaled with illumination of the jug (7). Illumination color depends on the selected temperature.

When the preset temperature is reached, the kettle will turn off.

Note. Taking the kettle off the base cancels the settings.

The appliance may be turned off at any time with the button (A).

ILLUMINATION

40°C: green light.

70°C: blue light.

80°C: yellow light.

90°C: purple light.

TEMPERATURE HOLD - 85-100°C

Press the button (A) and hold it for 3 seconds.

Activation of the function will be signalled with flashing indicator and illumination of the jug (7). The kettle will hold the temperature (85-100°C) for 2 hours, and then it will automatically turn off. Taking the kettle off the base cancels the settings.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• allow the unit to cool down completely before cleaning,
• do not immerse the kettle in water while washing up,
• the outside of the kettle may be wiped over with a damp cloth and washing-up liquid,
• water stains inside the kettle can be removed by rubbing with a cloth moisten with white vinegar; rinse the inside with water afterwards,
• limescale should be removed in the following way:
• fill the kettle with 0.75 litre of water and bring it to boil,
• switch the kettle off and disconnect the kettle from the power supply,
• pour 0.1 litre of white vinegar into the kettle,
• allow to stand overnight,
• discard the solution and rinse the inside with water,
• fill the kettle with 1 litre of water and bring to boil,
• discard the water and rinse the inside with water,
• no timely removal of the scale from the heating element results in the heating element's quicker wear,
• any damage resulting from applying harsh descalling products available in the market are not covered by the producer's warranty,
• if the power cord is damaged, it can be replaced only by an especially constructed one (with appropriate plugs and endings).
