How to install the batteries in the doorstop alarm?

Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the device, insert a 9V block battery respecting polarity, then close the compartment.

Where to place the doorstop alarm?

Place the device on the floor, under the door handle. The gap between the door and the floor must be between 6 mm and 30 mm.

How to arm the alarm?

Set the power switch to ON. The LED lights up to indicate the alarm is armed.

What happens when the door is opened?

The door presses the metal contact plate, which blocks the door and triggers a powerful siren for 1 minute. If the plate remains pressed after 1 minute, the alarm restarts.

What type of battery to use?

Use only a 9V block battery. Do not use other types of batteries.

Can the alarm be used outdoors?

No, the device should not be used in humid environments or outdoors. It is designed for indoor use only.

How to stop the alarm once triggered?

The alarm stops automatically after 1 minute. To stop it immediately, set the switch to OFF or remove the battery.

Is the device suitable for children?

No, this device is not a toy. It must be kept out of reach of children due to risk of injury and the powerful siren.

How to maintain the doorstop alarm?

3. Installation

Battery installation:

• Open the battery compartment located at the bottom of the device.
• Connect the Blaupunkt 9V block battery.
• Close the battery compartment.

NOTE:

• Remove the batteries if you do not use the device for a long time. When inserting, always pay attention to the correct polarity of the batteries.
• Only use 9V block batteries.

4. Operation

• Place the door stopper alarm on the floor right bellow the door handle.
• The space between the door and the floor must have a minimum height of 6mm and up to a maximum of 30mm.
• The door must have a slight distance to the device.
• Set the power switch to ON. The LED will turn ON to inform that the door stopper alarm is "armed".

- When a door protected by a door stopper alarm is opened the door will press the metal contact plate. This will block the door so it cannot be opened any further and will trigger a powerfull acoustic siren noise for 1 minute.

• After 1 minute the alarm will stop. If the metal contact plate is still pressed the siren will start again.
