How to connect the EnerGenie EG-EM1 meter?

Plug the meter directly into a wall socket, then connect the device to be measured to the meter's socket.

What to do if the screen shows nothing?

Check that the meter is properly plugged in and the wall socket is powered. If the problem persists, contact support.

How to set the kWh tariff?

Press the 'SET' or 'COST' button to access the tariff setting. Use the '+' and '-' keys to adjust the value.

What is the maximum supported load?

The maximum load is 16 A, i.e., 3680 W for a voltage of 230 V. Never exceed this limit.

Does the meter work with low-power devices?

Yes, the meter measures from a few watts. For very low powers (less than 2 W), the display may show 0 W.

How to reset energy data?

Press and hold the 'RESET' or 'MODE' button for 3 seconds until the display flashes. Confirm to clear the data.

Is the meter compatible with Schuko sockets?

Yes, the EG-EM1 model is equipped with a Schuko socket and a Schuko plug, compatible with standard European sockets.

What does the 'PF' symbol on the screen mean?

'PF' stands for 'Power Factor'. It indicates the electrical efficiency of your device (close to 1 is ideal).

How to interpret the measurement results?
