What type of glue should I use to assemble the Faller 120161 model?

We recommend a liquid plastic glue specially designed for model making, sold separately. Avoid cyanoacrylate glues which can whiten the plastic.

Does the kit include paint?

No, paint is not included. You need to purchase paints suitable for polystyrene, preferably acrylic.

What is the scale of this model?

The model is in HO scale (1:87), standard for miniature railway layouts.

How long does it take to assemble the model?

Assembly time is approximately 2 to 4 hours, depending on your experience and glue drying time.

Can I paint the model after assembly?

Yes, but it is easier to paint some parts before final assembly. Follow the instructions in the manual.

Before building your model, please familiarize yourself with the contents of the kit and the instructions for use, also checking whether the set of parts is complete. In case of any complaint, the legal guarantee obligation shall apply. Should a part be missing, please send the designation of the port required and the receipt documenting your purchase to: Gebr. Should you require further spare parts one day, we shall be pleased to send you, with costs, the required sprue, if it is available. Please note that, on grounds of the production process, some single injection molded parts may be superfluous.

Liquid cement in plastic bottle with contents for very fine drapes.

Special aids enter for cutting off electroin modified parts without bars. Only suitable for phototrans.

Achtung!

For installation of the tracks in the engine house, and then can be later controlled for running operation, there is no need to glue the roof down. Therefor only glue the pieces 13/1 and 13/2 on the gable together. And on top the pieces, already glued on (pos. R). Allow to try for approx. 20 minutes.
