Frequently Asked Questions - HE722PET 011 HOOVER

How do I change the dust bag?
Press the latch of the bag compartment to open it. Lift the handle of the bag holder and hold it over a trash can. Press the red button to release the bag without contact. Insert a new bag into the holder, replace the assembly, and close the flap.
How often should I clean the filters?
On models with LED screen, clean the filters when the red filter light comes on. Otherwise, wash the filters after about 5 bag changes. The pre-motor and exhaust filters should be washed with warm water and dried completely before reinstalling.
How do I use automatic mode?
Turn the control dial to AUTO MODE (dial models) or the vacuum starts in AUTO MODE (LED screen models). The appliance detects the amount of dust and adjusts the power automatically.
What should I do if the bag full indicator stays red after changing the bag?
Check if the filters are dirty (clean them if necessary). Then look for a blockage in the tube or hose. Use a rod to unclog. If the problem persists, a thermal blockage may be the cause; turn off the vacuum for 30 minutes to reset.
Can I use the vacuum to pick up water?
No, never use the vacuum on a wet surface or to pick up liquids. It is designed only for dry cleaning.
What accessories are included with the HE722PET 011 model?
The accessories include a mini turbo brush for pet hair, a parquet brush, a crevice tool, a dusting brush, and a carpet and hard floor brush (GP).
How do I adjust the power manually?
On dial models, turn the dial on the main body or use the slider on the handle. On LED screen models, press the MANUAL MODE button then select the desired power level on the screen or via the slider.
What should I do if the vacuum suddenly stops?
This may be due to overheating. Turn off the appliance and unplug it. Check if the bag is full, filters are dirty, or there is a blockage. The vacuum will reset automatically after 30 minutes.
How do I maintain the mini turbo brush?
Do not use the mini turbo brush on long-pile carpets (over 15 mm) or animal skins. Do not let it run in place. To clean it, remove hair and threads wrapped around the brush.
Where can I buy Hoover spare parts?
Spare parts and consumables (bags, filters) are available from your Hoover dealer. Always order genuine Hoover parts quoting the model number HE722PET 011.
