5 Non-stick interior surface Before first use: Remove all packing material and please check carefully to ensure that your Electric Wok is in good condition. Wash the wok in warm, soapy water, to do this, remove the power cord, hold on the appliance making sure that the plug and thermostat unit are turned upward. Keep the plug dry. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Wash the lid, the over rack and the spatula with hot soapy water. Let the appliance work for about 10 minutes without any food to remove the protective coating on non- stick grilling surface. A small amount of smoke is normal – ensure that the room is well ventilated!www.livoo.fr Use of the device Note: Keep the edge of the wok 5-10cm away from any walls and objects on the countertop or table. Be very careful when you use cooking oil, if it is too hot i t can take fire. Connect the thermostat unit to the plug on side of wok and connect to the earth socket. Adjust the temperature on maximum and wait the wok heat. Add a little cooking oil and adjust the cooking temperature to the desired setting. When the Indicator light goes off, the temperature has been reached and the wok is ready. Do not cover the wok with the lid when heating up the cooking oil. Cook the food by moving nonstop with the bamboo spatula. When cooking is complete, move the temperature dial to “0” position and take food out of the wok right away. Unplug the power cord from the wall immediately after you have finished cooking. When cool, remove the thermostat unit. Allow the wok to cool completely before cleaning. Cleaning and maintenance Caution: do not use wire brush or any abrasive items or liquids to clean appliance. Be very careful when you use cooking oil, if it is too hot it can take fire. Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning. Never immerse the appliance base in water. Ensure that the appliance has completely cooled down. Clean the wok with hot soapy water taking care not wet the plug. If some food is hard to remove, after cooling, warm up with lower temperature after filling one glass of soapy water, wait 10 minutes and remove the food easier. Move the temperature dial to “0” position and rinse the wok. Clean the lid, the over rack and the spatula with hot soapy water, rinse and dry them. Wipe the base of the wok with damp cloth.Never pour cold water on hot plate because it will damage it. Dish washer is forbidden. Correct disposal of the unit (Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
