USER MANUAL ARTK75 ARDES

ATTENTION : read this booklet carefully it contains important instructions for a safe installation, use and maintenance.

Important instructions to be kept for future reference. When charging the appliance, do not lay it onto surfaces like beds, sofas, pillows, carpets, textile products, paper or other combustible materials.

This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age and older and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of experience and knowledge if they are adequately supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the appliance and are aware of the related dangers.

Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children unless they are under supervision.

Cleaning and maintenance operations must not be performed by children without supervision.

If the power cable gets damaged, it has to be replaced only at a service centre approved by the manufacturer.

This appliance must not be used by persons insensitive to heat and other very vulnerable persons who are unable to react to overheating.

Do not falling asleep while the appliance is working.

During the first use you can smell a slight odor, due to the first reaction of the warmed insulating material, which dissipates when it gets hot.

Electrical safety of this appliance is assured only if it has been connected to an effective earthing system.

IMPORTANT NOTE: the perception of heat varies from person to person. If the temperature is too high for you after the charge period, do not use the appliance and allow it to cool; for successive use, lower the charging temperature by disconnecting the power cable from the socket before the LED turns off: the shorter the charging time, the lower the temperature.

Instructions for use

Before using the device for the first time, operate it 1-2 times (following the below instructions) and place it in a well-ventilated area to eliminate any odours and fumes due to possible residual traces from production on the internal parts of the device.

Plug the connector into the appliance, plug the cable into the wall socket and leave the appliance connected only for few minutes to charge it (see data plate).

Use only the cable supplied with the appliance.

During charging, the appliance must be placed flat with the connector on top.

Monitor the device during the charging period.

Disconnect the warmer from the wall socket and place it in the bag supplied with it.

The highest temperature will be reached about 20 minutes after the appliance has been disconnected from the wall socket.

In order to recharge the appliance, just plug it into the wall socket again after it has cooled down completely.

The heat perception may decrease if the user falls asleep.

For this reason, to avoid burns:

- do not use the appliance if the user might fall asleep

- do not lie down with the appliance in the bed

Disconnect the plug from the socket and let the appliance cool down well before cleaning it.

Frequently examine the appliance to make sure there are no signs of wear or deterioration.

If there are such signs or if the appliance has been used improperly, bring it to an authorized service center before using it.

This appliance does not require any special maintenance.

In order to clean the appliance, use a soft or slight damp cloth.

Never use abrasives or chemical solvents.

Do not use very wet substances, liquids or cloths to prevent water from entering into the appliance and irreparably damaging it.

NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE INTO THE WATER.

Clean the bag following the indications given on the special label applied to the inner part of the appliance.

Terms and Conditions

The guarantee is valid for 24 months.

This guarantee applies only if it has been duly filled in and is submitted with the receipt showing the date of purchase.

The guarantee covers the replacement or repair of parts making up the appliance which were faulty at source due to manufacturing faults.

After the guarantee has expired, the appliance will be repaired against payment.

The manufacturer declines any responsibility for damage to persons, animals or property due to misuse of the appliance and failure to observe the directions contained in the instructions.

Limits

All rights under this guarantee and any responsibility on our part will be voided if the appliance has been:

- mishandled by unauthorized persons

- improperly used, stored or transported.

The guarantee does not cover damage to the outward appearance or any other that does not prevent regular operation.

If any faults should be found despite the care taken in selecting the materials and in creating the product, or if any information or advice are required, please contact your local dealer.
